Yervok was in town in no time. Leaving a trail of fire whereever he walked. The townsmen stared at him in horror. He took out his blades. The pebbles around him started to float in mid air. And suddenly with a jerk of his wrist. The closest man was forced by a unseen force next to Yervok. Yervok raised his hand to deliver the fatal blow. Tirj was suddenly behind Yervok, "do it.. He does not see.."
Yervok looked atthe man angrily, "why can't anybody see!! Your all blind! Why can't you? Huh? Why can't anybody see!" He let the blade fall. The man fell to the ground as a burst of blood rushed from the gash in his chest and neck. The flames on Yervok grew. And traveled down to his arms. He threw the fire. Two houses now burned. People began to scream.. Tirj smiled, "can't you hear the screams?" "I could hear them before.." Yervok replied. He extended his arms and two farmers were forced by a unknown force to Yervok. They knelt down, fearful.
Yervoks blades fell on both. More blood. The words, "can't you feel the grips of hell." rang through Yervoks thread. He let out a bloodcurdling yell and with a flick of his wrists the town burst into flames around him, "can't you see the bodies burning.." People ran from the town in a hurry. A few men confronted Yervok. Tirj stood behind Yervok. "kill them, they do not see." Yervok did just that. He spilled the blood of everyone who confronted him. And soon the town was burnt down. In the distance. Just barely visible stood the man with the grey wings and hood. Watching.
This story is a shoot off from my book series I'm working on. Some characters in this story are from the series. Just thought you should know.
Tirj saw the grey man and put his hand on Yervoks shoulder. "let's go back to the cave." Yervok was breathing heavily. Blood dripped from his chin as tears stained his eyes and cheek. Tirj pulled him all the way back to the cave. Yervok barely could keep his footing.
