Luggages. Don't you love the Fresh smell when you open one? What's that? The smell of adventure. Of unexpected happenings. Staring at my dull gray luggage, packed and ready to go, I didn't feel that thrill. I felt...Anxiety. My stomach twisted in knots again and again. "Tash! Let's go!" i heard Scott call. Hoisting my luggage down the stairs, I tried to bring it step by step. Ugh. I hadn't made it halfway when I gave up. I walked to my parent's room. It turned dusty, even though it was only a few weeks since they, um, passed. A sweet aroma filled my nostrils. Rasberries. My mom always always smelled like rasberries. "Tasha! Your ****in luggage is blocking the stairs!" Scott grunted. I ran out of the room and hurriedly brought my luggage down. C'mon, five more steps. Oh ****, it was so freaking heavy. Suddeny the pain eased and the weight was lifted. I looked up and made contact with Liam's beautiful green eyes. "I got it." he said, grabbing the luggage with two hands and bringing it down the rest of the way. My heart was beating sofast, "Uh..thanks." Scott passed me, "This is gunna be interesting..." he mused, smirking at my direction. Giggles erupted from the backyard. Liam smiled, "Sorry, that's just Tiara." I nodded, gripping my lighter luggage with my hands. "Welcome, welcome!" my high chirpy voice said. A tall slim woman came rush to me, and enveloped me in a tight embrace. A man followed her, with a sling around his arm. "We are so excited to have you live with us." the man said, smiling sadly. So excited? What, was they allowing us to live them because of pity? Was it adopt-an-orphan day? I tried to smile back, but my lips felt like jelly. "You are so crazy!" a high pitched voice laughed. Mrs. Samuels blushed, "I'm sorry. Tiara! Come over here!" The laughing ceased. A few seconds later, Tiara emerged wearing a tank top and shorts and flipflops. She still looked better than me. "Hey Scott, Hey Tasha!!" she chirped. We said our civil hellos and Tiara's parents led Scott and Liam into the house. Two more figures emerged, Miranda and Frankie. "Hello, Tasha!" Miranda said while Frankie offered me a nod. Tiara turned to me, "Listen Tash, you wanna head back with us? We're in the pool." My eyes widened, "Uh...um, sure!" Tiara smiled, "Yay!" she grabbed my arm and led me to the back. Was it me or did I just see the girls exchange a sinister smile?
