Rick's point of view: "Pardon?" I muttered. I must have heard it wrong. It can't be. Nash sniffed. "Ch-Chelsea did this to me." I stepped closer to her. "Chelsea did what?" Nash sobbed. "She punched me. Kicked me. Cursed at me. She called me 'sl*t' and 'boyfriend stealer'." I completely froze. "I don't believe you." I whispered. Nash whimpered and hugged me. I tried to get her arms off me, but she won't budge. "Please help me, Rick. I can't take this anymore. It's painful. Please." I sighed. I didn't know what to do anymore. The neighbors were staring at the two of us from their houses. Some were whispering. Some were laughing. I have no choice. "Alright. Come in." I said, giving up. "Thanks." she gasped as she went inside and undid her coat. "Why is Adam lying on the hallway?" Nash asked as soon as she saw the lifeless body. Shoot. I forgot all about him. I need to think of an excuse. Fast. Nash giggled. "Adam's really weird." I led Nash to the kitchen. I made her some tea and handed it to her. She looked terrible. Her face was bloody. She had bruises all over. "Now, tell me what happened." Nash took a sip. "Well, Chelsea came barging in my house. She started cursing at me. She said that I was the cause of your break-up. Suddenly, she punched and kicked me all over." "That's absurd." I sighed. "I know." Nash answered. "... and impossible. Chelsea would not do that." I added and looked at Nash. Nash looked at me ridiculously. "You think I'm lying, Rick?!" I slowly nodded. Nash's jaw dropped. "WHAT THE HELL?! I am the VICTIM here, but I am being treated as the CRIMINAL!" "Nash..." "Remember, Rick Anderson. I saved your brother. That was all thanks to me. And you're treating me like this?!" Nash snapped. "Nash, I just think..." "THIS IS JUST UNFAIR!" Nash screamed. I massaged my forehead. "Okay. This is what we do. I'll talk to you both tomorrow to know the truth. Is that okay?" I sighed. "Better." Nash scoffed. I sighed once again and looked somewhere else. "Rick..." Nash uttered gently, "I'm so sorry for yelling at you." "It's okay." I answered bluntly. I really want her to leave. "Rick, look at me." Nash softly called out. "I won't look at other women besides Chelsea." I angrily answered back. Nash forcefully grabbed my jaw... ... and gave me a hard kiss on the lips.
