  5. Aaw. Thanks, guys. :)

    I'll update a little later. :D

  6. Chelsea's point of view:

"I love you, Chelsea Homers." Ken declared passionately.

    SAY WHAT???!!!
    My heart thumped furiously.
My hands sweated like a pig.
I bet my face is bright red right now.
This is my FIRST love confession!

I don't know what to do.
My head's a mess because of the "Rick" incident.
    And now this?

    "K-Ken..." I started nervously.

"I don't need your answer right now." Ken immediately interrupted.
He hesitated for a moment then added, "I will be gone for 2-3 days. I hope to have hear your answer by then."

My eyes followed him as he knelt down to the ground and gently touched my shivering hands.

"I loved you for the longest time. Your smile gives me strength. Your laugh gives me a reason to live. Your presence lit up my dark world." Ken confessed honestly.

He stood up and faced me with determined eyes.
"I hope you'll think of this well." he said and walked away.

    My heartbeat slowed down.
I went inside my house and hurriedly went to my room.
I looked at all the clothes scattered for tomorrow's date.

I couldn't even remember why I scattered those clothes on the floor.
I couldn't even remember who I was going with.
There was only one thing I remembered:

It starts with the letter "K"

    Ends with "N"

And "E" was the middle letter

K-E-N was the only thing I thought about all night.
Is it normal to be this attentive to one person?

    Nah, I don't care if it's weird.
I'm not hating it anyways. :)

  7. Chelsea's point of view:

    "Chelsea!" Rick called out.

"H-huh?" I answered back in surprise.

"For the tenth time, what do you want to order?" Rick impatiently asked while the grumpy waiter glared at me.

Darn it. I'm letting my thoughts drift away. I kept thinking about last night's incident.
What's the name of this restaurant Rick and I walked into? I can't remember.
    Argh. Forget it.
I have to order fast. Rick's waiting.

"Cheeseburger for me, please." I requested to the waiter who gave me a puzzled look.

    Rick frowned.
"This a seafood restaurant, Chelsea." Rick sadly explained.

    "Ohh." I replied.
    That's so dumb of me.

"Then, I'll have mackerel." I requested. The waiter, then, sighed in relief.

"You seem not to focus in this date." Rick angrily commented.

I quickly denied the fact that it was true.
    But actually, it was.
I didn't even notice that I was on a date.
My thoughts are far, far away.

"I'll just get some spoons and forks." Rick offered as he pulled out his chair and walked away.

    *ring*

Rick's cellphone rang. I took a peak and saw his mom's name in it.
    Must be urgent.

"Ken, you're phone is ringing!" I called out to Rick who was in a short distance away from me.

He quickly turned to me with his eyes popping out.

    What's wrong?

    Uh-oh.
    WHAT DID I JUST SAY?

"Ken?" Rick asked while pointing at himself.

  8. bump bump bump more more more more.....

  9. Zomfg!! Bump date as soon as you can please!!

  10. Ohhhhhhh. This is ahmazayne! :)

  11. Rick's point of view:

    "Ken?" I asked in disbelief.

Did she just call me KEN?!
I felt millions of bricks falling over me.
Was Ken the reason why Chelsea was disturbed the whole time?
My whole body trembled in rage and anger.
I clenched my fists to control myself from hitting the wall.

I looked at Chelsea who was white with terror.

My heart melted when I saw her scared face. All the anger flew away just like that.
That's the power of her gentle face which she thought was plain and boring.

    I only have two options:
    1. Remind her of being my girlfriend for the meantime which meant that she should not look at other boys. A.K.A: Forcefully erasing Ken out of the picture.

    2. Forget the slip-off of the tongue.

Amazingly, I was able to control my anger and impatience so I chose to do option#2.

"So, my new name is Ken, huh?" I jokingly said while returning to our table.

    Chelsea's face regained its color.
"I'm sorry." she apologized, knowing that I was a jealous\possessive type of person.

I let out a forced laugh.
"No need to apologize." I assured her while reaching for my cellphone.

For a moment, everything turned BLACK.
I immediately forgot about the "Ken-slip-off." incident that just happened seconds ago.

    My heart quickly raced.

The text message was from my mom.
It didn't contain the usual message like: "Buy some cabbage!" or "Do the laundry when you got home!"

Instead, my mom texted approximately 4 minutes ago...

    "HELP!"

  12. Bump! Bump ! Buump bump bump bump!

  13. Chelsea's point of view:

Rick's eyes widened as he stared at the text message sent by his mom.

"H-help?" Rick stammered while he immediately dialed a number on his cellphone.

    I was very worried.
Rick's face grew very pale. It is as if he would faint any minute now.

"WHY WOULDN'T IT CONNECT TO HER PHONE?!" Rick shouted as an audible beeping sound was heard from the cellphone.

"Sir, you're bothering the customers. Please settle down." the manager warned when he approached us.

    "SETTLE DOWN?! HOW

  14. Continuation...

"SETTLE DOWN?! HOW COULD I SETTLE DOWN WHEN MY MOM IS IN DANGER?!" Rick angrily answered the manager.

Looking offended, the manager answered, "I don't care if your mom is in danger or not. Just SETTLE DOWN!"

Disgusted with how the staff has been treating both of us, I grabbed Rick's arm.
"Let's go." I said and barged out of the restaurant.

I dragged Rick outside and forced him to sit on a bench. There, he sat quietly and stared blankly into space.

"Chelsea, my mom just texted "help" to me." Rick sadly narrated.

Trying to encourage him, I said, "Maybe she was referring to the housework."

"No, Chelsea. It's much more complicated than that." Rick replied, feeling burdened. He buried his face on his cold hands.

I suddenly remembered the "family problems" he talked about last time.
I pitied his situation so much that I didn't mind stroking his hair for comfort.

He looked at me and sadly smiled.

    *ring*

Rick's cellphone rang suddenly. He almost dropped it on the floor.

    "Hello?" Rick hurriedly said.

I waited patiently as Rick talked to the mystery caller.

Rick lowered his phone from his ear and looked towards me.

"My mom is in the hospital's Emergency Room."
