Thanks guys! You never know how much your comments make me happy. I left this story for almost six months. I was kind of worried that people wouldn't even dare to waste their time to read a 242-page story. I superduper appreciate your efforts and time to read my story. Means a lot! LOVE YOU GUUUYS!
Aannouncement: To those who are still reading Desperate, I just want to let you know that the release of the update is drawing near! But before that, I just want to give you guys a quick flashback of what was going in Chelsea and Rick's chaotic love story. On page 215, Rick knew about Adam (Rick's brother) and Chelsea's painful relationship. So, Rick decided to use Jake (his cousin) to pose as his fake brother. But Jake, being utterly dumb, shared the plan to Chelsea! On page 219, Chelsea knew about the plan and was completely furious. Because of this, Chelsea decided to end things between Rick and her. On page 222, the principal saw Chelsea crying at the park. We even thought he was going to confess! On page 224, instead of confessing, the principal offered Chelsea a high-class scholarship in London. Will Chelsea accept it? On page 224, we can see Rick's depression towards the break-up between him and Chelsea. On page 229, Adam and Nash reunited and devised a plan between themselves. Is it true that Nash is going to give up on Rick? Basically, that's it. Be prepared for the update!

Adam's point of view: Nash's tears were endlessly flowing. Her eyeliner was smeared. Her cheeks were swollen. I had not seen her this wasted before. "I... I have to let him go." Nash sobbed as her hands shook terribly. I took her hand and tightened my grip. "You don't have to give up on Rick. Keep on fighting." Nash suddenly threw me an icy glare. "You DO NOT understand, do you? I don't have a FREAKIN' chance! He will NEVER EVER love me, 'kay?" Nash snapped. Disgusted, she quickly withdrew her hand from mine. I calmly sat back and placed my hands on the steering wheel. "This is all my fault! Rick's suffering terribly right now. And it's all because of me!" Nash whimpered as she covered her bloated face with her hands. I reassured her by patting her on the back and saying, "It's not your fault, Nash. You did it out of love. What's wrong with that? You love him." "And I just wanted to be loved back." Nash responded with her eyes shut. As soon as I heard Nash's words, my heart felt heavy. I knew her love for Rick was unconditional and priceless. It was like a movie scene of how she fell for him. But the problem is, Rick didn't feel the same way as she did. I gave out a long sigh. "So, what's your plan?" Nash opened her eyes. "I'm going to talk to Chelsea." Completely surprised, I exclaimed, "What? Why?!" "This is all my fault, Adam. I should be the one to fix this." Nash whispered. I grunted, "I know you feel accountable to all these issues, but what you are about to do will COMPLETELY DESTROY yourself!" Nash remained unmoved. One could see in her eyes that she was determined to do this. "This is insane! Why are you going to do something as crazy as this?!" I exclaimed. "Because I love him." I was taken aback by Nash's answer. I knew that she was determined to do this. I knew that I can't stop her. Scratching my head, I asked, "How can I help?" "Drive me to Chelsea's place." The travel to Chelsea's house was silent and intense. I could hear Nash's audible heartbeat. She was about to do something absolutely painful for herself- something perfectly selfless. As we arrived at Chelsea's house, Nash quickly got out of the car. She wobbled across the house. She looked so pitiful. I knew that at any moment, she was about to burst to tears. Nash reached for the doorbell. Just as she was about to press the button, she stopped. Her shoulders were shaking. Tears were flowing from her eyes. She looked so depressed and burdened. Alas! She finally pressed the button. After a second, the door swung. There emerged a lady whose face was very familiar to me. From my car, their conversation was inaudible. But I could see from their mouths that Chelsea was the only one speaking. Nash was frozen as tears continuously fell. Ugh! I could not take this any longer! This is a scene that is too painful to watch! Overwhelmed by emotions, I got out of the car and slammed the door shut. I walked towards the two. As soon as Chelsea realized my presence, her eyes widened and her jaw dropped. I smiled at Chelsea and reached out my hand to hers. "Hi Chelsea. Long time, no see." Chelsea froze. Chuckling, I added, "What are you standing there for? Shouldn't you be congratulating the future bride?" Chelsea, snapping back to the real world, responded, "Bride? What bride?" I smiled and winked at the confused Nash. "I was talking about Nash, silly!" Chelsea's eyes widened. "Nash... bride... what?" I smiled wickedly. "Don't you know? Rick and Nash were engaged a long time ago." Chelsea, completely angry, exclaimed, "That's not true! That was over ages ago! Don't tell me an obvious lie!" My smile widened. "Let me tell you something... ... Rick just renewed the engagement contract yesterday."
I finally updated! Hahaha. After all those years of promises, I finally updated! Sorry for those grammar mistakes. I just came back from final exams. I just can't wait to update! Is it boring? Not good enough? Leave a feedback below. Much much appreciated. Thanks!
