  3. Chelsea's point of view:

"... you have to go through me first." I bravely challenged.

    The woman laughed boisterously.
"Are you serious, Chelsea? Did you forget that she accused you for beating her up?!"

    "Uhh..." I trailed off.

"And," the woman added, "Actually, if this swimming pool accident did not occur, my troop and I would have looked for you and have BEATEN you up for beating Nash up!"

    "B-beat me up?" I shivered.

"That's how we apply justice in our school." the woman boasted.

"But that's not the right way!" I exclaimed.

    The woman glared at me.
"You fighting with ME, HOMERS?! How about the two of you DIE TOGETHER?!"

I firmly closed my eyes as I saw the woman's clenched fist got nearer and nearer.

    "STOP!"

I opened my eyes and quickly looked at my savior.

    Guess who it was?

    It was the principal.

    I sighed.
So my usual knight in shining armor was not present.

    What was I expecting?
    We just broke up yesterday.

"Everybody! Detention! NOW!" the principal angrily shouted.

"Chelsea. Nash. Go to the clinic right now." the principal gently said as he gave me a wink.

"Alright." I huffed as I carried the 100-pound Nash.

"S-Sorry... s-sorry." Nash sobbed as I take one hard step. Suddenly, she fainted.

The truth is I really pitied her.
I know that she lied to me and all.
But I still want her to have faith in humanity.

As I opened the door of the clinic, a hand reached out to me.

    Alas, my ex-knight-in-shining-armor finally appeared.

"Let me help you with that." Rick said as he carried the lifeless Nash to the bed.

Honestly, I felt a tinge of jealously as Rick touched Nash's body.

"I apologize for not saving you a while ago." Rick sighed.

"It's okay. You don't have to, anyway." I blurted out harshly.

    Rick's expression darkened.
"Chelsea, now that you know that Nash was lying about her being pregnant and me being the father, shouldn't we be okay again?"

"Okay again? What do you mean by that?" I snarled.

    "You know... let's go back..."

"Together?!" I remarked sarcastically, "Nash was not the only reason why I got MAD at you. You were acting weird! You didn't answer my calls! You didn't even let me go inside your own house!"

    Rick's eyes widened.
"Sorry, I just had many things to take care of..."

I stared into his eyes and saw that they were tired and weary.
I felt my heart soften a bit.

"... I have family problems, you know?" Rick added, "Lots of them. There's my persistent mother who's always thinking about dad. My brother..."

Suddenly, I looked at him and said...

    "You have a BROTHER?!"
