Alice finishes and the water falls around them as Alice removes her hand and steps away. "It's all I could do. If she doesn't come back," she closes her eyes. "I'm sorry."
Serephine sighs. "Do you not care about us at all? You, me, father… we're a family. Dysfunctional, yes, but we're all we have! Do you really want to desert us?"
Alice looks up at Seraphine angrily. "The only time we ever get along is when we're humans. You and Dad are just... demons "
"Point is Alice... Everyone can be considered a demon... If we are bad." Blaze says quietly behind her.
Serephine glares at Alice. "And you're a demon too, no matter how hard you try to forget that. Your goal has been — and always will be, at least in your instincts and subconscious — to kill humans. No human will ever fully accept you."
((No it's fine)) "Good luck with that. Not," Serephine smirks. She turns to Alice and says, "You wish. You're delusional. You've been trained from day one how to fight humans, and you've killed countless ones. I saw you. You think you're so much better than everyone else, but you're really not."
"That's a mistake," Serephine replies. "As soon as she sees a better option, she'll betray you and join them instead."
"You'll regret that. If she can betray her own sister, she can betray anyone." Serephine's eyes well up with tears. "I loved her, did you know that? I trusted her with my own life as well. I've sacrificed so much for her, then she just stabbed me in the back."
