I would not troll you Too-chill because your interested in the Material and your question was a misnomer many people believe beer/alcohol does that but the process in which is made makes bacteria and feel free to ask as many question as you like I am here to spread knowledge I have learned. And I look forward to your questions along with everyone else's questions! Remember I will answer the question in the order they come in,and when I have free time!
Another thing OP, its not just Beer, its other drinks too, like Vodka, Scotch, Whiskey, Wine, stuff like those and others similar. Is it still made the same way as how you described beer was?
Too-chill I do not know how all Alcohol/drinks are made but I can say that Beer,Vodka and Wine(all go through fermintation) I say this because these drinks are the ones I drink the most and I have looked into them. The other drinks you mention I would believe they all involve fermination because they involve some sort of fruits and starches but I cannot say it for sure but if they do go through the fermentation process they will contain bacteria.
So basically saying, depending on where we live and the microbes, water is still considered healthier than these alcohol products?
Yes but don't worry most water is treated to kill and decrease the amount of bacteria in water. And yes depending on were you live water is healthier then alcohol. But I can say this back in the day in spain they had contaminated water so they used to mix wine, fruits, and the contaminated water and drink it but this was a balancing act later on this drink would be called sangria but this was made with Red wine to treat the water(this color wine has the most amount of good bacteria)this coukd be done because some bad bacteria could break down the "bad" bacteria. they could not use beer, vodka, whiskey ect... Because the other alcohol containing drinks have a higher amount of "bad" bacteria. Just a little fun fact hope you enjoyed it.
I actually did OP. They say you learn something new everyday, but I definitely learned something new today. I'm satisfied. Thank you for answer all my questions. ^.^
No problem glad I could answer your questions Too-Chill. And I'm also happy that you enjoy learning. Hope you have a great day or night. I am off to bed, any questions posted after this post will be answered when I wake up ^.^. Remember there is no such thing as a dumb question! If you think of it your not the only one who may have the same question good night everyone!
Is saline water through an IV better than just chugging down water and eating salty things? It seems like it would be faster and easier to just hook up to a drip when dehydrated. And is it possible to have too much water in your system?
Yeah an old hangover avoidance trick it to drink Pedialyte or something similar before going to bed. Gatorade is almost as good. There are a bunch of other toxic by-products from alcohol though that also lead to hangovers, and some cheaper drinks contain stuff like formaldehyde. But still, staying hydrated helps the body flush all that junk out. It takes water to remove the alcohol from your system, hence the idea that alcohol dehydrates you. But most beers and wines are mostly water anyway, it's more of an issue when you are consuming mixed drinks or straight liquors. Sorry, I'm not a scientist, but I did learn a lot about alcohol during my training to become a chemical dependency counselor.
This is good if you are sick and cannot consume enough fluids orally. As for faster and easier, you usually have to go to a hospital or a special clinic to get IV fluids. I have been battling mild/moderate dehydration for months now (from medical reasons that make it difficult to eat or drink) and no one has offered to hook me up to a drip. They just keep telling me to sip, sip, sip ?.
Pidialyte is great as well toxins in the body that alcohol has can be broken down by the Liver the liver is in charge of Detoxification and lipid digestion. The best thing you can do is drink water, pidialyte, and Gatorade. So the toxins in alcohol are filtered by the body either way as long as you do not drink excessively. But dihydration of the brain affects your body overall.
If you are severely dihydrated yes because doctors and nurses are not going to make a patient drink many liters of the saline solution to get them hydrated. Secondly the blood thickens when dihydrated using an IV to the blood stream to get it back to a more thin state. And yes there is such a thing as drinking too much water after a certain point the kidneys will have trouble keeping up with the high amount of water. Remember there is such of thing as consuming/drinking too much of a good thing the body goes through a cause and effect at thats what makes it so fancinating.
I will try Ayn sorry for confusing you you can post on skelatal muscle page what confused you and I'll try to explain as best as possible.
Many years ago 'beer' was considered healthier but that was when water wasn't clean and water borne diseases were rife. The beer was also very weak and nothing like the beer we have today and everyone drank it including children. Just chipping in as a history geek
Well then I learned something new today lol I wish I could put the Rainbow that says the more you know lol. Thanks Casper! That is interesting!
