Continuing from Chapter 2 Even though you can't see his face, you know for sure he's staring back completely at you. You however show no fear. You get up onto your feet, yet it prooves that he's taller then you. Again, this makes no difference against your attitude towards him. You open your mouth, about to speak, but he snatches the first words, seconds after he drops another, hard looking plank of wood. "Marcus Laggen..Detective.." he whispers, in a deep, sharp whispered voice. "How do you know my name?!" "You've been following my tracks for days. I'm not idiotic.." he whispers using the same tone as before. He grabs a gun and raises it, pointing it towards your forehead. For the first time in years, you hold no weapon due to it being conviscated earlier in the day due to your mistaken actions. The maskedman gets ready to fire. "KALIE!" you unexpectedly shout. By now half the crew have already gathered behind you, weapons drew. But among the crowd pulls out Agent Kalie, ready to assist you. "Now..the show begins." the maskedman states using his now-known-as-casual speaking tone. Bullets fire every, smoke eventually hugs the air. The boat unsprisedly begins to lower in a sinking method - at this point the crew race to land, firing every so often. You race to land, yet are purposedly tripped. The last words you hear are "..come with me." You have been put to sleep. Chapter 3: Caught You awake, tied to a chair. He stands there, disarmed. With the shape of your mouth it's assumable that you'll reason with him- instead you shout; "WHERE AM I?" He chuckles, ignoring your question. "Playing the silent treatment, are we?" you angrily say. "Well believe me.." While talking, you feel a loose section of rope towards your hip. Here's your chance.. A: Attempt to escape! B: Continue questioning him! C: Use an excuse to make him let you go.
Continuing from Chapter 3 You temporarily ignore the loose rope and focus on questioning this moron. "Where are we?" you snap. He giggles again, almost exactly as he did before. This time it was a more lower tone. "I don't find the humor in this." "He pauses and breathes heavily, rising to his feet. He walks towards you and kicks you. You attempt to retaliate, but fail. He sits himself back down. "..Who are you?" you ask in pain. He begins to talk, in a low voice. "That'd be too easy." "Too easy for what?" you question further. "Too easy for you to complete the 'mystery' as you detectives and so on call it." You become more angrier, and yank the loose rope. You're now able to stand, and face him, neither of you holding a weapon. You raise your fist. "Don't!" shouts a high pitched voice from the shaded area of the room. You look to find Agent Kalie there, tied to a chair similar to the one you previously escaped from. "Don't!" she repeats herself. "You're encouraging him! He can beat you." "Serial killer, masked, murders like theres no tomorrow and one punch you think's gonna encourage him?" you completely forget about the maskedman and turn to Kalie to continue your conversation. "How can you bel- Ahh!" A crunched arm grabs you from behind and strangles you. You realize your mistake here. You focused to much on argueing to focus on the case - the problem that's caused you hate on most of your cases today. "Noo.." you screech through the grip of your breathe. Agent Kalie stands, smiling surprisingly. The maskedman loosens his grip in confusion. "Step 1- Learn how to tie ropes propably. Step 2- Learn to not mess with the best." She raises her fist, swings and within a shot the maskedman's lost grip of you and is on the floor. You stand in complete and utter shock. "No need to stand dumb" she laughs. "Now, let's have a look what's in my blazer here.." A: Pull out a purse. B: Pull out sleeping pills. C: Pull out a gun.
Continuing from Chapter 3 She pulls out a purse, and sticks her fingers inside. "A purse..?" you ask, puzzled. "Mhmmm" she replies proudly. If I just have a dig..here. Aaa. Now. While looking on the boat I found..-" "A photo." "Well spotted detective." "Indeed" you say sarcastically proudly. "Look. At the similarities.." You both switch your eyes from photo to body manually every few moments. You lean forward with the photo, now in your grip. "How could we not have noticed this..Kalie..oh my.." you start. "What?" she snaps. "Look, at the ankle. If you look closely on this picture..a nearly percise birth mark of an apple." "Hmm..It looks more like a pear to me.." "Apple, I'm sure of it." She smile in defeat, yet smirks "Pear" when you look away. She gets a clear view of his ankle, and to their suprise..it's exactly the same. Chapter 4: Discovery Back at the station you approach the cheif. She frowns, expecting you to bring negative news. "Cheif..mind travelling with me to the carp park?" "With you? Haha! I'll probably end up in A and E with your luck." she jokidely laughs. You travel there aside each other, to a car boot in which Kalie's waiting for your arrival's. "When I asked for an answer, I didn't mean a what-looks-like dead body-" "-knocked out." Kalie interupts. "Even better", the chief says through her lips. "Escort it inside. Preferably to the labs, they'll have a good look in there. "But ma'am-" you argue. "We'd be much better just checking the body ourselves." The chief's walked far enough now to be out of hearing distance. Do you- A: Listen to the Chief and take the body to the lab. B: Ignore the Chief and take the body to check yourselves.
Chapter 5: Gone for good? You and Agent Kalie inspect the body. You search head to toe for any other specific details. Nothing apart from that one birth mark is much use. "The Chief's gonna kill us.." Kalie mutturs under her breathe. "Nevermind. If you want a job doing do it right." you reply. She ignores you. "How are we going to recieve the details? I mean, we can't literally walk down the streets checking peoples ankles.." "Certainly not." you state. "Our only use is the lab.." "I knew you'd come up with something to get us out of trouble. I see how you're the 'speacilist' now." Kalie grins. Together, you grab the knocked out body and carry it down the corridor. It's heavy, but you put up with it. You eventually reach the labs. You're both greeted by Specialist Kevin, the best in the department. "Chiefs filled me in. Leave the body. We'll check. Go and have a break. You both deserve it." Kevin says happily. "No argueing with that for once, I see.." Kalie smiles, friendly. "Now, my specialist skills aware me that you're craving chinese?" "Bang on." you laugh. "But.. A: ..I'd rather have italian." B: ..shouldn't we wait here?"
