~Chapter 7~ Yushin,the guy with Deokman,was to have an arranged marriage with one of Mishil's daughters,Ari. Deokman broke down and cried,but nothing would stop the marriage. Yushin agreed with the marriage,so as to strengthen the kingdom of Silla. I tried my utmost best to comfort Deokman,but I was invisible in her eyes. After the marriage,nothing seemed to change. But already,there was a major change - Deokman could never love Yushin the same way again.

Triple update. I was bored,so I wrote and wrote. At first,I wrote a super long chapter,so I broke it in half. Then I realised no one knew who Alcheon was yet. So I added the 'Alcheon Special'. Anyway,ENJOY!! P.S. For the first part of Chapter 8,I wrote it in a pretty obvious way,though not that obvious. --- ~Alcheon Special~ Alcheon became a Hwarang at a young age. He was loyal and true to the royal family,and always followed Deokman and Cheonmyeong's instructions. The best of friends with Yushin,he never doubted him and even provided him with vital information. Although he knew me when we were still young,he was always suspicious of me and never trusted me. I deserved it,I guess. In the end,Alcheon was remembered as a loyal fighter who protected his country to the very end. ~Chapter 8~ "My dear, Yushin is a fool! He still thinks I'm loyal to him as his wife!" Ari gazed captivatingly into Chunchu's hazel eyes. And as the door closed ever so slowly,the butterflies flitting outside could only catch a small view of what was happening inside. Meanwhile,in the palace,Mishil was giving orders to Ouma Shu. "You must assassinate Deokman while she's in the forest. Make it seem like an accident," she instructed. "Yes,Seju." Shu replied without hesitation and set off for the forest with his best bow and a quiver full of poison arrows. In the forest,the two sisters were having a reunion. "Cheonmyeong!!" Deokman hugged her sister elatedly. Alida hugged back and said with a wink,"You can call me Alida!" Standing there,I looked on at the hug-fest irritatedly. I leaned back on the rough bark of a tree and muttered,"Don't they know they are wasting precious time?" I glanced at Alcheon and Yushin,both waiting patiently for the girls. Shu,hiding amongst the trees on higher ground,pulled out a poison arrow and took aim at Deokman. As he pulled back,Yushin spotted him and pulled Deokman away,seconds before a poison arrow pierced the ground right next to them. "Princess! Are you okay?" Yushin asked worriedly. "I'm fine. Just a scratch," Deokman smiled gently. We then set off for the bank,where our boat was anchored. At that point in time,we thought Shu had given up,but we were utterly wrong. Shu hadn't given up. Instead,he was coming back. ~Chapter 9~ In order to escape,Yushin devised a clever plan to change clothes and divert Shu's attention. As for me,I didn't have to change as Shu didn't know who I was at that time. As Shu spotted two figures running through the woods in Deokman and Yushin's clothes,he took another poison arrow and fitted it to the bow as he followed them silently. At the bank,Deokman bade goodbye to Alida,as she and Yushin were going to go back to Yangji Village with me. They wanted to live a quiet life there together,even if Yushin was already married. Pulling the string back,Shu aimed at the figure in Deokman's clothes. However,he did not know that the person he was about to shoot was his beloved Alida. He let go of the string - and the poison arrow pierced Alida right in the heart. Everybody rushed to get Alida to the boat amongst the avalanche of arrows raining down on us. I dodged one and glared in the direction it came from. Picking up my bow and arrows,I leaned back against the mast,supported the bow with my foot and fitted six arrows to it. I aimed right for the mountains and shot. One arrow hit Shu right in the chest. He left,clutching the arrow. On the other side of the river,in a cave,Alcheon and Yushin were trying to heal Alida as Deokman broke down. I just stood at a side of the cave,not knowing what to do. It was the first time I ever saw Deokman so vulnerable. "Take over my place as princess,Deokman... And defeat... Mishil..." Alida wiped away Deokman's tear before her hand dropped limply to the ground. Alida was dead.
