At first I cringed and used them to make jokes/be cringe but then I realized :3 is actually kind cute sometimes! I forced myself to separate my emo phase :3 and make it just a cute :3 face in my mind lmao

I think it's a weeb thing. Back when i was a weeaboo, kind of, sort of, not rly, i read manga, donut judge me a lot of the drawings of chibis would have mouths like that. I always assumed that's where it started
