Also, I'm technically american in addition to being canadian 🤔 ppl with proof of minimum 50% indigenous ancestry have dual citizenship in canada and the US due to a treaty that both countries randomly continue holding up (most treaties were ignored so it's funny to me that they keep this one). That's a fun fact that I didn't know. But unfortunately you have to be born on us soil. There was a big stink when John McCain ran for president because he was born on a military base not in the US. But the court ruled he could run because military bases are us soil kinda like embassies
