ABI's POV

"Can I cut in?"

Oh, snap.

Leo and I pulled apart and Leo stood face-to-face to Carter.

"And who do you think you are?" Leo challenged, bumping Carter intentionally.

Carter didn't look threatened, "I, am just a guy who is asking a girl if she wants to dance."

Leo huffed, "Well that, girl, has a boyfriend. Who. Is. Me."

"Wait wait waaait. Okay, hold up! Rewind!" I marched to both of them.
They both looked at me, confused.

"Leo, what do you meaan that we're still together? As if. If making out with Quinn didn't make it clear, i'll tell you instead. Me, you, OVER. Done. Nada. Zitch. Kerpish?" I turned to Carter, "Thanks for offering the dance but...um, I really gotta go find my friend."

Both boys nodded; well, Leo looked like he was going to erupt, so I hurried away.

I looked around the party for Cassy but I couldn't find her.

Suddenly, two hands grabed my arms.

"Hey!!!" I said. The two people were Crystal and Taylor, the Stupid Sisters.

"Chill, Brittany wants to see you." Crystal said. At least I think it was Crystal.

"I don't want to see her!" I loosened my grip and ran, ramming into someone.

"Hey, dear." Brittany smiled.

I was trapped, "What do you want, Britt?"

She smirked, "Just wanted to tell you that Cassy? Yeah, she's my friend, not yours anymore."

"What?! As if." I snorted.

"Yup. She deserves more than losers. Sides, we are sooo close now. She told me about your break up with Leo and the whole no guys thing. Cute."

I stood there, jaw hanging open. Cassy told her?! What?! It was supposed to be OUR secret!!

I was fuming, "Fine, take her. I don't care."

With that, I stormed away.

 

CASSY's POV

"Hey Abs." I smiled at her, taking a seat beside her in the cafeteria.

Abi looked at me and I was shocked. There was something about her eyes. They showed...resentment? To me?!

Abi stood up and walked away.

I stared at where she had just sat. What was wrong with her?

Catchin my senses, I stood up and chased after her, "Abi! What's wrong?"

She turned, and met my eyes. Hers were showing anger and mine probably showed confusion, "What's wrong?! What's. Wrong?!?"

I took a step back, startled at her aggressiveness, "W-What?"

She curled up her hands to fist, "What's going on. Is that you told the evil witch that I got cheated on. Gee, Cass, thanks!" she said sarcastically.

I blinked, "W-What?"

She gave out a harsh bark, "Oh, don't act like you don't know. Did you see this?" she held up The Daily Prophet , the newspaper a bunch of Potterheads created. Suprisi ngly, it was actually popular.

The two besties decided to ban themselves from guys!! Aw, how cute! Turns out Abi got cheated on and Ginny got used! Oh, boohoo for them. Losers

I stared at the newspaper, the words not processing in my mind.

"I-I didn't do this." I said. Did I?

She rolled her eyes, "Sure you didn't"
