  1. "Hey this is Andi, I'm probably busy or doing something! Leave message!"
    Beeeep.
"Gurl, where are you? Party's in an hour!! I refuse to let Auvrey get the best of you! Get you're *** here or--beep."
I listened to Abigail's voice. I refuse to let Auvrey get the best of you....
I was lying face down at my bed, depressed. I hate to say it, but Auvrey was right. I'm just a loser, a freak. Why wouls the most poular guy in school invite me? Of all the freaks, did he have to stoop that low?
I hated myself for falling into Auvrey's trap. This is crazy. Crazy messed-up.
"Cassandra Ashley!" a voice said, flinging the door open.
I looked up, confused, but plopped my head back when I saw who it was, "I'm not going, Abi." I said, my vooce muffled from the pillows but I knew she understood me.
She sat down at the edge of the bed, "I know. I'm not here to force you. Just to make sure you're okay."
I rolled on my back, "Really?" I was suspicious.
"Also to tell you that I'm not going because you're not going."
That was funny, considering the fact that she was never invited in the first place.
"Aww, no, Abi, you have to go! You know, make sure that you get pictures of Auvrey getting drunk and falling headfirst into her own puke!" I said, with a smile.
Abigail laughed, "Okay, I'll go but...will you be okay?" the worried look appeared on her face again.
I smiled at her, a genuine smile, "Totally. Now go get 'em!" I said, shooing her to the door.
"I'll bring home the pictures!" she said.
I listened to her stilletos propping down the steps, to the front door slamming, to her Toyota gearing up, until it drove away.
    Silence.
I sighed, leaning back on my bed.
It's a good thing I took those acting classes in the sixth grade, acting happy is hard.

  2. Plunk. Plunk.
My head shot up. I must have fallen asleep. I checked the time. 8:15. About an hour into the party.
    Plunk.
    Ugghh... What was that?
    Plunk.
It was coming from my window. Relunctantly, I stood up, dragging my feet to my wide window. I struggled with the lock.
There. It was open. I stuck my head out. Was that...no, it can't be....is that...ohmygosh....it's Alexander.
Even in my half-awakeness, my heart started thumping, fast. Maybe I'm
hallucinating. I rubbed my eyes, no, it's him. In all his awesomeness and glory, he was here.
My gosh, my hair must look like a mess.
In my failure to secrectly fix my hair in the best way I could, he saw me.
    "Finally, you heard!" he said.
"What are you doing here?" if my dad saw him, he would FREAK.
"Well, you weren't in my party...and...I was kinda hoping you would come and when you didn't well, I came to take you there!" he said, sheepishly.
"How did you get my address?" I questioned, suspicious.
"You're friend, uh....Alison or Alice or something," he said, smiling but even in the sark I could see that he was blushing.
    "Abigail?"
    "Yeah. Her."
I am going to KILL that woman.
"So you're going to get me to come?" I said.
    "That's the plan,"
    "And if I say no?"
"Well, i guess I'm just going to have to go home and lock myself in my bedroom and wallow in shame,"
    I laughed, "Oh really?"
"Yup. So you better come to the party in order to save my broken soul." he placed a hand over his hard, dramatically.
"Yeah, about the party, aren't you supposed to be there, host and all?"
He looked up at me, his eyes meeting mine and said, "I wouldn't want to be in a party without you."

  6. I guess you could say that Alexander convinced me to go. I think we both knew I would say yes in the first place. So there I was.
The minute I walked through the door I was tackled but boatloads of people.
Actually, Alexander was tackled; I was just an innocent bystander.
"Yo man! You got a smokin' hawt girl!"
"Hey Alex, can I have your phone number?"
From jocks to girls to wannabe's, they all talked to Alexander at one time. One of the things of being the most popular guy at school, i guess. I wiggled away from the people, giving Alex some space. I walked around. Wow, his house was bi-ig. People were dancing, drinking, puking, kissing. I swayed to the music's rhythmic beat. Hey, this was kinda fun!
"What are you trying to do? The chicken dance?" a voice sneered in front of me.
I knew who it was without looking up, "What do you want, Auvrey?" i said, exasperated.
She flipped her blond hair, "So you decided to come after all."
"Alexander picked me up." I said, smiling with pride.
She looked surprised for a second before her smirk reappeared, "Yeah, a pity pick-up. Sweet." she said sarcastically, "Haven't you learned yet ? He's using you."
"No, he's not!" I said, certain. I wouldn't fall for it this time. Alexander was sweet and nice and caring. He wouldn't use me.
"Yes. He. Is!" Auvrey pushed me-hard. I crashed into a strong pair of hands which caught me. I looked up. It was Alexander.
"What the hell, Auvrey?" he said, righting me up and staring intently at her. He stood in front of me, protecting me.
"Watch it, Rider." a gruff voice said, it was Chase, a jock who was an on-and-off boyfriend of Auvrey. Guess now they're on again.
"You better watch your girlfriend, Chase." Alexander said back. The two boys were now standing face to face
Chase swung a punch, which hit Alex's nose, which instantly bled. I gasped, holding Alex's arm, "Don't."
Alex looked like he was about to punch the guy but he heard me. He calmed down, noticing the number of people who had gathered around us.
"I don't want to fight you, man." he said, "My house, my rules. Either you get out with your girlfriend or the party's over."
There were several groans among the crowd. Chase knew if that happened, he would be known as a jerk. He back away, "Okay fine...but I'm watching you." he tugged Auvrey's arm, "C'mon babe."
The crowd dissolved, once all threats of the party being over was gone, they went back to whatever they were doing.
Suddenly Abigail jumped up and hugged me, "You made iiit!" she squealed.
She saw Alexander's bloody nose, "Woah. What happened?"
    ------------------------------------------------
So you probably thought that Auvrey wanted Alex, right? But what about Chase? A-huhhh. You'll see ;)

  7. ****by the way, I just noticed in my past post- the one with the phoneem message? Yeah i said, "Hey this is Andi...." what i meant to say was, "Hey this CASSY."
I must have gotten the name mixed up with my own. Sorry :''')

  8. bump!!!!!!

    bummmp

  9. Ohhh lol ok bump please

  10. "Thanks for saving me back there." I said, wiping the last of the blood from Alexander's face with a wet cloth.
"It's no problem." he said, grunting, probably from the pain.
We were sitting on top of the wall in back of his house, in front of the massive pool.
"You didn't have to do that, you know." I said, putting the cloth down and looking at him.
"I wanted to, Cassy." he said, smiling regardless of the pain it must have caused him.
"Why? You don't even know me." I said. Why save a complete stranger?
"I want to know you." he said. We were thiis close. Was he gonna kiss me? Ohmygoshohmygosh. We both leaned it when suddenly--
    Splash!!
A bucket full of bronze liquid was dumped on us.
"Haha! Man, you ain't gettin' away that easy!" Jude, Alexander's bestfriend said, laughing along with some other football guys.
"What the hell man?!" Alex screamed, but he was laughing.
"Your call." Jude pointed at me, laughing and heading back to the house.
Once he was gone, Alex looked at me, a worried expression on his face, "You okay?"
I laughed, reeking of beer, "Totally."
"Good, 'cause to wash you off, I'm going to throw you into the pool!" He reached to grab me but I jumped away, away from the bridge and ran a ross the wide lawn, squealing.
He chased after me, laughing, both of us smelling like beer.
Auvrey was right about one thing, i came home dripping in beer; but I wasn't crying.
