•ONE WEEK LATER•

"So what did Peter do that was so bad?" Ginny asked me for the fifth time today.
"He cheated on me." I said.
"Is he like that always?" Ginny wondered.
"Yes." Abi said.
The three of the them had been hanging out all week, and thankfully thankfully Abi wasn't being a meanie anymore.
I took a sip of my Frap, the liquid colling my mouth, "He's not good for, Gin. Seriously."
Ginny took a bite of her cookie. She was worried. I know she really liked Peter but he's a player. He was just gunna break her heart.
Abi took out her laptop and switched it on. The screen lit up and the Windows song rang through the air.
"Do you mind if I check my Facebook?" Ginnt asked.
Nodding, Abi handed her the laptop and Ginny typed in a quick email and password.
Right after she logged in, a small chatbox appeared.
Peter.

Hey Gin. What's up?

Ginny looked at us, confused on what to say.

"You can reply him if you want." I said.

Everythngs cool. U?

He replied almost after five seconds.

Im good. Um, i waz wndering....r u doin n e thing on sat?

Our eyes widen. OMG, was he actually asking her out?!

Ginny replied,

I dnt thnk so. Y?

It took him a while this time to reply.

I thought u and i could go on a u knw..a d8e.

I clasp my hand over my mouth. Are you kidding me? Is this reallt happening?

"What do I say??" Ginny said, worried.

"Um..uhm...i..." for once Abi was speechless.
"Yes?" I suggested.
"Why?" Abi said, puzzled.
"Maybe....i dont know. Give him a chance. Maybe he changed."
Abi snorted, "Fat chance."
Ginny sighed, and typed in a quick Sure! Send me d deets! and turned to us.
"I'm scared. What if he didn't change?" she bit her lip.
"It's okay. You'll have back up." i said smugly.
"How?" both girls said at the same time.
I smiled, "We'll be in the restaurant at the same time of course."

-At the date-

Abi and I observed Ginny from a corner of the restaurant. She smoothed her skirt again and looked around, obviously nervous.
I checked my watch. Point down for Peter. It was 7:15. What time did he say they'll meet? 7:00. Tsk,tsk. He hasn't changed.
Not one bit.
The wind chimes at the top of the door jingled, signaling a customer had come. All three of us looked up.
Oh, look, it's late lover boy.
"I'm so sorry I'm late." Peter huffed, setting down his jacket and taking a seat.
"Um, it's okay." Ginny shifted uncomfortably.
Peter signaled the waitress and they took their order.
I glanced at the menu myself. I wasn't hungry. Setting down the menu, I glanced at Abi.
"Do you think he's changed?" I asked.
"Hmm?" Abi was too busy going through the menu to notice.
It was usless talking to her when she's too absorbed in food daydreams. I stood up and headed to the bathroom.
A few seconds after I entered, Ginny came rushing in.
"Cassy! I seriously don't know what to do!!" she said.
"Chill, Gin. Just be yourself." I remarked.
She tilted her head, confused, "But...i thought you aren't exactly happy of me going out with him."
I sighed and looked at myself in the mirror, "It's your life, Gin. If you feel that he's changed, then go for it. We're just here to make sure you don't get hurt."
She nodded, taking in my words, "Really?"
"Really."
She gave out an excited squeal and headed outside, skipping.
I headed back to our table. Abi had already ordered and was shoving fries into her mouth. ()
Swallowing, she asked me the most random question ever, "Have you and Xander kissed?"
I blinked, taken by surprised. We hadn't. Why was she asking me this?
"Noo..."
"WHAT? Two weeks. Two weeks!! You need to get your lip gloss ready gurl cause he gunna make a move soon." she smirked.
I blushed. I had been caught up on the Peter thing that I didn't spemd time with Alexander. We had a date next week though.
"Um..i don't think..." i stammered.
" Don't give me that la-ame excuses, Cass." she smiled knowingly.
We talked for a bit until I noticed something.
"Shhh! Look! They're leaving!" we both ducked under our desert menus and popped our eyes at the top.
"That was really fun." Ginny remarked.
Peter smiled, "Yeah, it was. But next time, tell your friends to pick a better hiding spot."

 Xander and Cassy's date 

"This is so beautiful." I gazed at the breathtaoing view of the pale blue ocean spread out in front of us. My head lay on his chest; I could feel him as he breathed in and out.
"Yes. Yes you are." he smiled at me, oblivious to the fact that I was talking about the ocean and not of myself.
I could feel butterflies churning in my stomach. Abi and Ginny had both said he would kiss me tonight. On the lips this time. And hell yeah I was scared.
"So what's up with Peter?" Xander asked.
"Actually, he and Ginny are doing really well. I think he's changed."
"Do you forgive him?"
I thought about that for a moment, "Yeah, I guess I do."
He snorted.
I raised my ead, "What?"
He straightened up, so we were now face-to-face, "Are you sure that he's not going to break her heart? What if...he's dating her to get revenge on you by breaking her heart?Or maybe..."
WHAT?!? I felt anger surge through me. How dare he? He didn't know Peter! Peter's changed!
"Or maybe WHAT." I said.
"Maybe he's using her to get close to you."
I was boiling now, "He's changed!! He's wont do that to her!! You dont know him!! You havent see him!!"
His expression was dark, "I know enough of him."
"no you don't!! He's changed!! I tell you!!"
"Oh so you take his side?!"
"Maybe I do!!"
We were both standing up now, angry.
"I want to go home." I said, crossing my arms over my chest.
We silently climbed into hiscar and drove to my house. I was fumming. Ugh!!!!
I climbed out of his car, and, not caring anymore, slammed the door as hard as I could.
Guess I'm not getting that kiss after all.



I just felt the urge to update but nothing came to me. So it kinda sucks 
