When we hear the word "immortal", we envision gods and great men/women; not immediately, peasants and ordinary folk. Hence, I thought that Jean-François Millet's "Woman with a Rake" seemed quite fitting as the perfect paradox to the concept of "immortality." Where various artists would be commissioned by the nobility for their portraits, Millet has chosen to capture the likeness of a peasant farmer, going about her daily tasks. The work she does may not be considered conventionally aspirational to a lot of us. Nevertheless , she has achieved immortality through Jean-François Millet's art.

Theme - Ritual Process ❤️ "The Tree of Renewal: A Sacred Ritual Beneath the Stars" By Xx_Zayn_xX Under the light of a crescent moon, the sacred tree stood tall at the heart of the jungle, its branches aglow with soft, radiant orbs. The villagers gathered in silence, reverence filling the air. They believed the tree held the spirit of the earth, a divine force that had watched over their ancestors for generations. Each year, under the tree’s shimmering light, they performed the Renewal Ritual. Elders and children alike sat around its sprawling roots, the ground beneath them humming with energy. At the tree's base, a glowing sphere pulsed with a life force, its energy seeping into the earth, renewing the land and the souls of those present. The animals watched from the shadows—tigers, deer, and great beasts of the jungle—drawn by the tree's power. They knew this was a sacred moment, where humans and nature intertwined in harmony. As the villagers chanted softly, the light from the tree grew brighter, illuminating the faces of those gathered in the ceremony. Tonight, they would once again receive the blessing of the earth. The balance between life, nature, and spirit would be restored, as it had been for centuries.
A ritual can be anything that you do on repeat in the same order over and over again for a specific result. It can be a spell, incantation, a birthday celebration, or even a morning routine. I chose the spell route and wanted to portray a young witch practicing her magic, which would be a ritual on its own since she's repeating it over and over to get either the same or different results over time.
