@wolf, its their opinion, they are entitled to an opinion. I actually agree. It takes much more skill to draw using pencil and paper, (i can't pencil draw to save myself, i can draw using software though) That been said, my fav by far is the pimd superman one. Its genius. I'd still be more impressed if it was a hand drawing
He made a statement that using software isn't "art" which is false. Everyone just has their own medium of doing things. It takes a lot of skill to go traditional but to state that digital art isn't art is terrible.
@wolf, i missed that comment. I just saw she said pencil drawing is harder. But yes, computer software or pencil drawing are both art. They both take a level of skill. Computer software os only easier (in my opionion) because you can fill colour and click the undo button. Where as when drawing, you have to take time colouring, if you fuck any of it up, sometimes you have to re do the whole thing or take ages going over it if not erasable ? i suck bad a colouring :lol: Pencil drawing looks better, in my opinion, as if you are really good, the details will make it a true peice of art. With real skill you could be able to do this using software, but i am yet to see art made via software that truely takes my breath away.
actually both pencil an softwar are hard, but also u cnt draw without a base, and pencil is the base for the softwar (that is something my teacher says to me)
We do start traditionally and you need to be good at traditional to make digital but to say digital art isn't art is wrong.
