You constantly spam the opening screen, which sometimes takes too long to load/doesn't load. Its usually useless info, like day 13 reminding us there is a hunt, spinner items that have been there 20+ days, 2x that isn't 2x, etc. So yah, that's real useful.
The startup method also prevents players from spamming multiple entries, while posting a link on the forums would not do this. While it's unfortunate some players may have skipped there message, there is no inherent bias to those skipping it, meaning that the results are still valid and represent a large cross-sample of all sorts of players in the game.
70% psssht buncha party fairies, they only come to forums to yell for wars then vote for parties in surveys, two faced idiots, yes I'm calling out all the wannabe tough guys always crying for pvp, where are they now? Tucked their skinny tails and ran to cc, idiots
From what I see as feedback in this current thread and seeing what kind of players missed it makes me feel like it's biased, but that's none of my business. Have a nice day, I'm done here.
Poor Grant lmao. Everyone's getting ticked off at him and it's not even his fault this time LOL. He's just a messenger, ya noobs.
That's because the forums themselves have an inherent bias. A majority of players do not use forums, and those that do are usually the most vocal, but not the only voice we listen to here as we consider all of our players when designing features and content.
Not vailid because you did your percentages based off who took the survey not based of the number of active players within the game... add that in there and see how much it varies. Yes parties, hunts, ect will still be higher unless there is such a large number of players who didn't take the survey that it would show that those who did your survey is only a small portion of the communities voice... as you say about those on forums
