  1. Writing the update :D Too lazy to wall people when it's up though. :L

  2. This is brilliant...

  3. Thanks Tash. :D
And I'm so sorry, I had the update ready but I fell asleep and it deleted. I re wrote some but it's shorter and less good as I was annoyed writing it.

  4. Very short but I ran out of battery typing and it deleted the other half. -.-
    ****

I gulped. I was going to have to check the house....

I stood up slowly, feeling self conscious as the eyes of the portraits upon the wall bore down onto my back. A shudder ran up my rigid spine.

The note came into my head...The way the person liked to say "games"...I guess the first game was hide and seek.

I smoothed my top of creases and cautiously walked into the hallway. I'd check upstairs first; it has more likely hiding places. I made my way up the creaking steps and onto the landing, then stood as silent as I could.

Nothing. Nothing but a mysterious silence...

I ducked, due to the low ceiling, and went into my room. My eyes flitted around the room quickly.

It was small with lilac walls and a cream carpet. It had a tiny desk tucked away in the shadow of the medium sized brightly coloured bed. It had a spinny chair in the middle of the room, a wardrobe, the attic latch on the ceiling, and a shelf crammed high with books. Nothing seemed touched though.

Safe. Or supposedly anyway. Good. I ducked under the desk, into the small gap underneath, and pulled the knife out from under my sleeve. My heart pounded against my rib cage, and each heartbeat sounded like a stampede of elephants. Still I remained quiet.

    I had too.

Why? It is hide and seek after all...Very short but I ran out of battery typing and it deleted the other half. -.-
