"RUUUUBBBBYYYY!!!" a high pitched squeal ran through the corridoor towards me, I cringed, grasped my hands over my ears and turned around. I saw a mass of bright red hair hurtling towards me like a fireball, "oh crap...." I muttered as katies body colided with mine and I fell to the floor with her still hugging me tightly "ow, ok Katie I get it hi" I said laughing while trying to remove a very clingy Katie from around my waist "whoops sorry" Katie mumbled getting up off the floor and helping me up I dusted my self down "now then you little terror give me a hug!" I shouted at her opening my arms widely for a hug, katie ran into my arms smiling widely giving me a tight hug, Katie was 3 years below me and new here, I had found her crying in the toilets all by herself on her first day here. She was upset over her parents splitting up and to be Frank she looked a complete mess. Ever since that day I've been keeping her under my wing protecting her and helping her when ever she needed me. "right then you little monster I've got to go find Natalie and scarlet, I'll catch up later yeah?" I said releasing her from the hug and holding here by the shoulders, she nodded and smiled, I ruffled her hair and walked off towards the field in search of scarlet and Natalie who were probably by now arguing..... A LOT. "HEY WATCH IT!" I shouted as I collided with a guy walking in the corridor, I looked up into his eyes and my breath caught in my throat as my mind flashed back to a night one year ago at a very tightly packed club. "oh. It's you." a cold voice said to me, it was conner. I snarled at him and walked off giving him the finger as I did so.
I heard conner laughing as I walked off. My mind drifted to thoughts if kraze, I wondered what he was doing right now, why he wasn't in school, would I talk to him again tonight? I reached the school field "hey ruby!! What's got you all smily?" my friend Jodie shouted out, I smirked and blushed "oh nothing just Damon being really sweet y'know"
After cheer practice I gathered the squad in a big group "I'm about to go post the list of names for the new additions in our squad. I will read out the names now, if any of you have an objection to a name you tell me after I have finished calling out the names, if you have a valid reason for your objection then they will not be accepted into the squad, any questions?" no one spoke "good, the new squad is as followed, •Charlie Crutchley •Katie Thompson •Ryan Evans •Hannah Daku •Qin fisher •Jake monk •Jodie Sash any objections?" no one dared speak against me, I smiled widely at my squad and they smiled back "good well I'm off to post the list, see y'all later" I said walking off blowing kisses behind me as I did so. I started walking towards the school notice board "There's a place down town where the freaks come around" I sang quietly to my self "it's a hole in the wall it's a dir- HEY!" I shouted loudly as someone grabbed my elbow pulling me into a empty dark classroom "LET ME GO!" i shouted again struggling to get out of the grip of who ever was holding my elbow "hey baby.....shhhh" Damien whispered into my ear nibbling my earlobe as he did so, I instantly relaxed and started giggling "oh my god you scared me babe!" I said while laughing, Damien kept nibbling my ear lobe as i felt myself being pushed back towards a school desk. "Mmmmmm baby what's wrong?" I said moaning slightly as I kept being pushed backwards until I could go no futher back wards so I ended up with my hands behind me holding me up above the desk "isn't it obvious?" Damien sighed his lips moving softly towards mine.
