New feature pitch for PIMD from @Mike98765 and @-Ahli-LovesMike - The Clash Bash! The idea: Bring back the rivalry, camaraderie, and engagement that made Wars one of PIMD’s most engaging social features, minus the risks, while using party mechanics all players know! Clash Bash would allow two clubs of up to 100 players to compete against each other in the same Party. Both clubs receive identical Party actions and potential rewards, but the club that completes the Party first earns bonus event drops and plunder! The Problem: With the War feature, players weren't simply tapping away idly, they were working toward a shared goal against another club. Members communicated, coordinated, encouraged each other, trash talked a lil bit, watched the opposing club's members for weak links, and felt invested in whether their club won! However, traditional Wars also had significant barriers: Players could lose cash on hand when attacked Borrowing tutes or banking was required to hide cash Wars required preparation and a greater time commitment The no-friction/no-prep Party option became more attractive to a broader portion of the player base as events became more common While parties have been a hugely successful addition to PIMD, they helped make the club-vs-club social competition that made Wars so special mostly redundant. Party Clash combines the best parts of both systems! How it Works Challenge - One club uses a new “Clash Key” to challenge another club to a Clash Bash. Like Wars, the challenged club will have a set period of time to accept/decline the challenge. Match Begins - Once the challenge is accepted, both clubs see an initialized Clash Bash countdown. When the countdown ends, both clubs enter an identical Party. Compete - Players attack the Party using existing/renamed Party actions. Both clubs can see their own progress and their opponent club’s progress in real time. Race - The first club to complete the Party wins! Reward - The winning club receives 25% more event items and cash than normal parties, while the losing team receives 10% less drops/cash (these numbers can be adjusted based on testing). Why Players Might Like This There was a lot of enthusiasm for the Campus Party events, where players worked together for a pool of rewards. This Clash Bash idea builds off this idea, and introduces something the current Party system lacks: Urgency!! Instead of: "I'll hit the Party when I have energy", players will have a reason to say: "They're ahead!! Everyone hit!" This could go on to create: More club chat activity Team coordination Friendly club rivalries Friendly competition Increased Party participation More reasons to remain active during an event Stronger attachment to one's club Clubs could keep track of their wins/losses, as well as unlock new club pins and badges. Why ATA Might Like This Clash Keys would be a new item required to initiate a Clash Bash. Keys could be earned through all existing free-to-play reward opportunities, like boxes or the spinner etc, or purchased through Shop, Webstore, and Deals. Participating in Clash Bashes might also increase player engagement, longer play sessions, and increased revenue. The system is also pretty straightforward, and mirrors existing game features, like parties, campus parties, and wars. We could also do seasonal Clash Bashes, like we do for Invite Parties, or offer limited-time events for new badges and pins. ATA could also make different Clash Party tiers - Tier 1 Key Clashes give 10% to winners, Tier 2 gives 25%, Tier 3 gives 40%, for example. Challenges There would have to be a way to mitigate potential abuse, where clubs could place a single alt on the losing side, guaranteeing the winning side extra drops. This might mean a minimum participation rate on both sides for a successful Clash. What do you guys think? 🤔

It’s coordinating not everyone is available to party all day long or too coordinating. And this is the concerns from the mansion mayhem iteration . I’m unsure how the feedback given on the various Mansion Mayhem activities or other format about how long should it be like a 24 hours battle / competitions or like a week long . Some concerns on the cake party campus takeover where people couldn’t hit or 2 days was too short . Would this exclude/ new players who haven’t finish tutorial quest / missing rebalance high concerns and the casual players , unsure how casual players would fit in .
These Clash Bashes wouldn’t need to be long, and could be completed in a couple of hours, like an average pro. It would probably need to be based on total Damage as well, to account for different sized players. The Mansion Mayhem events are true to their name, and I’d want to eliminate the chaos and confusion of needing to do certain actions at certain times, this would be more of a straightforward party race type thing. 🙏
I like the idea, but I can't help but feel like it's missing something. I'm not sure what it is, but it'll come to me sooner or later, or maybe never. I mean, it feels like a war reskinned as a party, which feels to me like the whole idea, but do I really want to compete for free drops? And, yes, I do understand that you get more for winning and you get less for losing. In any case, you have my supprot, but I'll be trying to think of what could be added.
I get you, I was trying to think of some Mario power type stuff, where a random hit will cause a slowdown in hits for either club, or a hit buff that would make your hits a bit stronger? Something to add that frenzy and randomness to keep people engaged throughout the event
I like the idea of a new club war system like this but I think a lot of clubs wouldn’t want to try as it looks like a battle of who has more dns and a cash grab. Maybe it could have some kind of max hit per member? Or so many members have to contribute? That would really make it a challenge and add to the club coordination/increased participation with who can get more members online to help the race. (Or maybe that can be a separate concept). If it was strictly left as a flash it wouldn’t have much coordination (other than when the party is starting, unless you plan for buying or saving dns), wouldn’t feel like team work as someone in club with more DNS/money would feel pressure to push the party along by spamming dns or would just spam, and wouldn’t push for club members to fully participate as someone could put in more hits to carry the race.
This was gonna be my thing was gonna say. Would just be most dn wins but i guess thats no different to wars. The only other thing is bots would use this to farm stats ect even faster making the market issue worse. Apart from that it seems like a fun idea
Wars did limit the number of dns you could use depending on the length of the war (I think, but don't ask me the limits), which would be necessary here too. Bots aren't something we accounted for :/ And thanks for the feedback! 🙏
Love the idea, only thing I’m not big on is that there would be item required for the bash. We already have bikinis, cats, dogs, and invites, I don’t want another thing added to the list especially if it end up dropping from boxes as well. I know adding that might make ata consider it though as they can make money off it.
We added the item requirement only because of the additional drops, in the same way you get more cash and drops from using the existing items
I finally got it. How about instead of party drops, you get stat items. But you +1/+1 stats, and when you get enough, they combine into bigger and bigger stats the more you participate in these Clash Bashes I mean, you can probably still keep the party drops. You can also have the winners win the second tier of combined drops and the losers just get the base +1/+1s. That's as far as I got, and I think that's what was missing. I would like to imagine they get up to +500,000/+500,000 or even +1,000,000/+1,000,000, but that might be a little overkill. But that's just my thoughts and input. If it's too much, then that's understandable.
I love this idea and would love to see it expanded upon, but for now I have no additional suggestions. Will keep thinking on it. Wars (and PvP in general) are a hugely neglected part of the game that I would love to see revived in a way that still appeases the party fairy atmosphere that's been cultivated on here.
