  1. She gestured to a park bench by a lightpost and the two sat down. "So," Charisse began. "how are you like your visit so far?" She looked up to his big brown eyes as they crinkled. He smiled softly and looked down at her. He reached out his large hand and put it on hers. "At of all the times I have visited France," Damien mused. "This was the best day, ever." Charisse blushed as she noticed his eyes settled on her face. She had to admit. Showing around an American was not as bad as she imagine. Damien was the most amuse boy she ever met, and Charisse really did not want to say goodbye as the sky turned black. She checked her watch. Six o'clock. Late. Late. Late! Charisse stood up abruptly and threw her silver clutch under her arm. "Um," Charisse began uneasily. "I have to go, my frere has made us plans." A flash of disappointment crossed Damien's eyes, but vanished with a crooked smile. Charisse winced with uncertainty. "Charisse," Damien chuckled. "it's okay. I have to go too. Thanks for showing me around. Want to meet up tomorrow?" Charisse beamed and they exchanged phone numbers. She had the perfect idea of she would show him tomorrow. Absolutely grand, she thought as she walked away...

  6. Damien never left Charisse's thoughts as she strolled merrily in the streets. The night was a bit chillly so she pulled her white cashmere sweater over her bare shoulders. The black satin of her a-line dress, slid across her legs rapidly as the wind blew past. As soon as Charisse arrive at her home, a large villa that stood out amoungst the other manors. It was a two story home and had sixty seven windows-Charisse counted. The landscape was perfectly trimmed and decorated with ornate, expensive lawn ornaments. The large fairy fountain and mushroom pottery were Charisse's favourite. Walking up the stone path to the front part of the house was a long walk, but she wasn't bothered, hidden under the tall fulgrown hedges. The sound of the fountain made her feel at ease in the dark as she reached the maroon, mahogany doors of the Rimbert Manor. She knocked the claw knickers and thought of Damien once more, smiling...
