Chapter three Violet sat in front of her computer, once she got home. The bus ride home was uneventful. Her thoughts drifted back to the two encounters earlier that day. She shook her head and gently pulled her mid back length blonde hair in to a ponytail. Her light blue eyes scanning the words on the bright screen on her desk. She sighed and rubbed her temples, " Can't shake this feeling that trouble is coming. ", She grumbled softly. Stretching out a little, she got to work on her home work. Algebra being one if her favorite subjects. She smiled and began solving the problems in her head. Then printed the equations out on her paper. High school wasn't all that it was cracked up to be. There were people who took it seriously. Then those who jerked around just to pass time. She had goals set for herself, she wanted to make a difference to the world. That's how she met Mia. In a economic group helping to plant plants in the community. Their friendship blossomed quickly during the summer. Now they were inseparable. Who knew that something helping the community. Could bring about close friendships. Mia was a little dense at times, she had to admit. The girl was naive, didn't know when someone wanted to be her friend or just use her. But the girl had her heart in the right place. She was sweet, and very open to others. Sometimes she envied her. Only because people were instantly drawn to her. She couldn't be that girl that everyone liked. For the simple fact that she could pin point who was trying to use and who was just there to be friends. Most if them were users. She brushed them off as quick as they came. If that made her a stuck up snob, well..so be it. Better safe than sorry, she thought. As she finished up the last few pieces of home work for the day. She made a quick sandwhich to eat and then headed to bed. That is until the phone rang beside her bed. Startling her from her peaceful thoughts to sleep. Her parents were still out late. Maybe they were just phoning her to see if she got home okay. " Hello? This is Violet. ", She mumbled in to the phone as she picked it up off her dresser. " Violet! It's Mia! Oh my god, I bumped in to this really cute guy at school. I mean, after you left, I was waiting for my ride. He knocked in to be accident. We started talking and he happened to be going my way. So he gave me a ride home. Wow, i mean..he has these really gorgeous grey blue eyes! And-" " Mia! Hang on..you let a stranger take you home?! ", she snapped at her briskly. " He's not a stranger, calm down. Anyways, he was so sweet. I think I've seen him in my geology class. ", Mia responded with a giggle. Violet rolled her eyes, " Mia, you really should be careful with people. Don't be so trusting! ", She growled and lay back on her bed. " Not everyone is out to destroy man kind. Ease up V! His name was Aiko, I'll introduce you if I see him tomorrow. I have to go, mom's calling. Night V ", She said sweetly and clicked the end button on her pink and purple colored cell phone. Violet grumbled and tossed her phone on to her dresser. She took her hair down from it's ponytail and quickly got up. Changing in to a pair of pajama shorts and a tank top. Sometimes Mia got carried away with things. This situation was no exception. The girl just didn't listen, or didn't care. She sighed and crawled under her bed sheets. Kicking her book bag off the end of her bed in frustration. It barely took her five minutes. Staring at a pasty white ceiling, before she was fast asleep. She didn't realize just how worn out she was. But knew the next day, would be colorfully eventful to say the least. Especially if Mia did introduce her to that possible sleaze Aiko. She wasn't always negative. Though people tended to bring out the negative. She was kind to those that were genuine. That didn't expect to get in her pants or use her to do their homework for them.

Arks POV It was official. The first bomb was dropped. Whoever that girl was the punched me would pay oh so dearly. I was going to get her back, no matter what it cost. And I know just the girl who could help... Raven. Violets POV I layed on my bed, constantly thinking of the well being of Mia. The guy she was talking about....it worries me. I think he's out to hurt her. Let's face it. All guys eventually do. At least I finished my homework. Although Algebra was difficult for most people, its realitively easy for me. I guess its just a gift. Or a curse. After all,... Who would want a smart girl over a beautiful one?
