"I have felt cats rubbing their faces against mine and touching my cheek with claws carefully sheathed. These things, to me, are expressions of love." - James Herriot It's a myth that cats are incapable of love.
when I am asleep my cats slaps me with her paws to wake me up I don't need an alarm clock because of her.-.
cats really aren't at all what a lot of people make them out to be... Stupid cat stereotypes... My cat is as loving and loyal as a dog. He gets depressed when I'm away long, and loves and snuggles a lot. There's even times where I'll fall asleep with him in my arms, and he will still be there when I wake up. He's been like a bestfriend through a lot of struggles, and always manages to cheer me up. I can also call him, and he will come along and follow. There's also been times where he has chilled with me in the bathroom. Maybe I just got lucky... I don't know... But cats can be man's/woman's best friend just as much as a dog. ?
Every cat I've had would run up and cuddle if I was sad.. They can be very affectionate and loving.. I'm not a dog person because dogs are too energetic, loud, slobbery and sometimes it's just too annoying.
I had a cat that could sense when I was down. She would sit on my chest and purr and that really helped me feel better. I have 4 cats right now. Some of them may not be overtly affectionate but they do care. For example, if I'm not home in time, they wait for me at the gate till I get home, no matter how late it gets. ?
Think it deps on the person but dogs can be great just as much as cats. It also deps on the animal and how close they are to you. Great thread tho lol
Yey for all the cat lovers. One of my boyfriends cats also loves to just cuddle up in his lap while he's on his laptop. ? makes me wonder if she ever does it if she knows he's upset. I guess it really is just a preference, but all the cat stereotypes need to burn.
