that’s super awesome! but my question is: what’s the point in having it as a keyboard on smartphones? does the phone translate and read it out when you have the speak settings enabled?
There’s no real usage for having a Braille keyboard on a smartphone. Think about it as though it’s just another type of font you can use if you wanted to. However, thanks to technology, people who are blind can sync their Bluetooth devices to their smartphone and access anything they want to on the phone using their braille devices. We’ve come such a long way in regards to accessibility for individuals with disabilities. Thanks for the awesome question! Hope this helps.
