  3.  Hey guys! Thank you very much for the comments. I'm sorry I didn't post yesterday! I was busy with school, but now I'm currently working on chapter three! ;) xx I really appreciate it!

And I'm sorry if I don't use much of details unlike before... I just came back to writing, and I've become dull. I never use descriptive words in real life... People makes me feel old and shy about it saying I'm like an old class poet.  So give me time, and I'll probably be back to my old self with my usual vocabulary.  Thanks, again XX stay safe, lovelies, 

  7. Chapter Three

    Third Day.

I was in school on the third day. I know I shouldn't have gone, but I had already missed the first and the second day.

According to the school doctor, I was— am sick. Mentally— trauma. She thinks that I am seeing things due to the rest of my family being dead. I just need to get over it and accept their deaths— she said.

But how can I possibly forget when it haunts me every now and then? How can I accept their deaths when people reminds me, thinking, that I was the reason they died... Or better yet, I killed them.

What she said soothed me somehow. She talked to me like a friend would, but I'm not that stupid to get close to her. She told me that I was in no fault over their deaths, and I was just unfortunate.

I sighed deeply and made my way towards my first class. I hugged my books close to my chest as my jet black hair covered half of my face. I could feel stares on me, also making me shiver from the thought. I hated attention... but no matter what I do, it always follows me too.

Loud whispers filled my ears, I could sense pin-pointing as well. It was annoying, but I lived with it when I was in my hometown... Surely I can also survive here, even though I tried to be invisible in thin air— but lucky enough, being unapproachable is still intact.

History was my first subject. I love history, and I've always had. I probably love the history of Asia— I find them very interesting, and intriguing. With all the religions, beliefs, and customs. It seems like they never ran out of something to do. And so with the rising and the falling of the emperors and such.

Second to my favourite was of Rome's history; that includes Greece. I don't know why, but their period was complicating, yet very bloody and interesting. Bloody because of the wars, interesting because of all the geniuses that were discovered, and as so with the emperors and their ways of ruling the country. Good or bad, they all contributed something that went known to history.

Entering the empty classroom was weird, but it's better being early than late right? I walked to the centre back and sat there. I placed my books properly on the desk and my bag beside my chair.

After ten minutes of being alone, everyone rushed inside and sat down on their seats; but unfortunately the teacher was late.

I was looking at my desk, not bothering to observe whatever— whoever was around me. But staring at one thing for a period of long time doesn't really please me.

I peaked on my right side and saw a really gorgeous boy sitting beside me. He was looking at me— no, he was studying me with his enticing brown eyes. His hair was short and was styled in a punk way where the strands of his hair are sticking out because of the gel. He had thin pink luscious lips, and a small beauty mark an inch above his upper lip on the right side.

I slightly jumped on my seat and blushed furiously as he smiled at me. It was a sincere, friendly smile. A smile that I have never seen except from the school doctor, and so before the incident happened with my parents. I looked away quickly and rested my forehead on the desk.

I heard him chuckling, and my cheeks were probably redder than before. I shrugged the thoughts away and waited silently for the teacher to come.

Ten minutes of waiting, half of the class were missing; but the boy beside me was still there, sketching something on his notebook.

I sighed and looked on my other side, and saw a blonde girl looking thoughtfully at me. My eyes narrowed and I looked away.

I was pretty bored already, so I also skipped first class without the teacher. Well, it's not called skipping if there's no teacher... right?

Step by step in the hallway, murmurs were catching in on me.

    Bloody Mary.

That two words caught my attention. It was yelled by a jock-looking guy that would make Dwayne The Rock jealous of his body. He looked like he was on steroids. I cringed, but left anyway.

Thirty minutes passed of wandering, I found myself in second period. Luckily the teacher was there.

And throughout the morning classes, I survived. Lucky that there were no group assignments and people trying to be friendly towards me.

Lunch time was tough. I had no friends, so obviously I would be all alone. But the problem is... I had no table. So I paid for my nacho with cheese and water, and went outside building, and sat on the grass. There were only few people eating outside, but I was the only one alone.

After my meal, I quickly got up and went to the bathroom.

I was scared at first, but after I hears voices inside I felt much better.

The first two stalls were occupied, so I went to the third one.

Honestly, I didn't want to use the toilet. It was just time to take loads of medication to keep me sane.

Though it always worked before... it didn't work that time.

My eyes snapped open at the sound of bloodcurdling screams. It was a mixture of pain, fear, and sadness. I was around a thick fog, but I could hear the sounds clearly.

Someone was screaming for help, and someone was desperate to be helped. I quickened my pace, hoping that she isn't hurt. Her screams were becoming much more pronounced and clear. It was unbearable how painful it sounded and felt.

"Hello?" I called out loudly. But no one heard me. I tried again and again, but nothing.

Just the excruciating screams of the girl who is probably dying from pain.

"Help me!" She yelled, but it came from the direction behind me. I turned around and followed the voice.

"Help me!" It came from the left side, so I followed it. But I felt shivers down my spine as she yelled it out again, but it came from the left side.

"Help me, help me, help me, help me!" She chattered amusingly. I was confused. I was afraid.

And then a sinister laugh echoed in my ears, causing me to cry in fear.

"Help me," she dragged the words like it was a game, like she found it laughable.

"Why won't you help me? Are you afraid? Oh come on, don't be afraid of me, Mary. Come here and help me out, please?" Her tone was child-like, evil, and dreamy.

I didn't want to move for once, but my feet moved on its own. I tried to stop myself, but it made me walk towards the end of a cliff.

How the hell did I get here? I asked myself.

"No, no! Stop!" I screamed in agony. I didn't want to fall. I hated heights. I never feared death, but falling is what I fear. "Help me!" I cried out.

But a loud mocking laugh was all I got as a response.

I cried more and more and I felt gravity pulling me down.

And then I screamed for the last time.

I gasped for air, trying to catch my breath— but all that happened was darkness covering me.

    It was cold, and frightful.

    Like death.

Sorry for the long wait! Here it is! Xxxx
