Marcus shifts into his human form, sobbing quietly "no I wouldn't. You know I wouldn't..." Rowena puts her knife away, glancing away.
Kat: "How well is Kaeso knowledge on women?" Arija looked away. "I was never good enough for you Marcus. Ele made that clear. So go after your first wife.... and forget me. I was never really the one you truly loved."
"Not much by the sound of that conversation." Rowena comments. Marcus sits up, wiping his eyes "you know that's not true." He says quietly.
Rowena tilts her head before disappearing, grabbing Kaeso and placing him in Cece's path before he can protest. Marcus stands cupping her cheek in his hand. "I know she reincarnated. If I wanted her, I would of gone to her and wouldn't of waited for you." He kisses her lips softly.
Arija looked at him. "I dont understand. You knew yet... why wait for me?" Cece had her head down wiping her eyes as she walked
Rowena nudged his elbows forward so he catches Cece. "talk to her, tell her you didn't mean it." Marcus rolls his eyes "you didn't listen to me again did you?"
Arija narrowed her eyes at him. "Why wait for me when you knew your wife is alive?" Cece walked to the park and sat down on one of the benches facing away from them
Marcus watches her slightly hurt "because I love you more, and endlessly." Rowena sighs before pushing him towards her "just explain yourself." She says quietly. Kaeso glances at Rowena before approaching Cece from behind. "That's not what I meant." He says quietly, resting his hands on the back of the bench, his wings spread.
"I've just been hurt by too many people." Kaeso says quietly. Rowena looks away, shifting into her wolf form. "Why does it matter what Ele said? My life has been about you ever since I set eyes on you." Marcus whispers.
"I'm sending Ele back to my first wife, I promised I would look after her. Then I'm blocking her from coming back." Marcus replies. Kaeso bites his lip before stuttering "I... I just don't know how to handle things like... Like this."
Arija: "but isnt Ele your familiar?" Cece turned and looked up at him. "Things like that are never hard to handle."
Marcus glances away "when my first wife died, Ele didn't. I had to protect her as my familiar died with my wife." Kaeso shakes his head "not for me. I've never been able to get that close to girls because..." He trails off looking away.
Kaeso keeps looking away, trying to form sentences in his head." "I already know." Ele says from behind Marcus."I was just waiting for my mistress to be the right age. What Marcus said earlier was true. I couldn't accept I got stuck with him." Ele comments "oh you're delightful." Marcus rolls his eyes.

Kaeso glanced back at her "I'm too afraid of losing the person I fall in love with." Marcus looked round Arija "oh so that's why Aria was iffy with me being around."
Caimus swigs a little on some malt whiskey before getting up and walking out onto the balcony and looking up at the stars.
