Serenity looks up at the sky, making the smoke disperse in patterns. She starts singing softly, her voice getting carried by the wind.

Amie smiles as she knows the song, she joins in as Serenity's voice picks up. Amose rolls over, catching Mint in one paw, towards Amie and Mint snuggles into him falling asleep.

 

Jason: "nope I only loved and still love your mother."

Edward: "it doesn't come off, it attaches it self to the Queen."

 

Serenity tilts her head more to look behind her at Darkai "hi." She replies quietly.

 

Jason: "the first Time I met her I knew I wanted to protect her with my life on the line."

Edward: "the cross attaches itself only to our queen."

 

Caimus looks up as he hears the singing and using his sweet voice he starts to sing the song up into the sky.

 

Serenity lays back on the ground to look up at him because her neck was hurting "what is it?"

 

Caimus stopped singing suddenly and froze in his tracks. "She's back......" He said as soon as he sensed her presence.

 

Jason: "now dear, aren't you asking too many questions for a 10 year old?" He laughed.

Edward: he stayed quiet for a bit but smiled at her. "Told you so."

 

"That's understandable after what happened. What else is bothering you?" Serenity asks looking at Darkai.

Amie finishes the last note to see Mint, in his wolf form, curled up under Amose's front leg. She smiles before taking the sleeping Rowena from Marcus and placing them with the other two.

 

Edward: "that's you, Our Queen."

Jason: "why is that?"

 

Serenity nods "Amie and Amose found her." Serenity props herself up on an elbow looking at Darkai, the light shining on the scar from her eye to her collar bone, "but why are you talking to me about this? And no one else."

 

Edward: "Haven."

Jason: "what else do you want to know?"

 

Serenity looks away "I know. He killed her the first time, but is coming back for seconds. Like his hunt for you." Serenity covers her mouth with her spare hand.
