...yes, I am. Thank you for stating the obvious. Does that prohibit me from researching and writing about black people?
Stop stealing culture, us white people do it too much. Let them have their month, stop always being involved to put your name out there
You're funny This has nothing to do with 'my name'. It's about teaching others about black history. I am not preventing black people from celebrating black history and culture by doing so, and even if I was, I would think it would need to be a black person to call me out and not another white person Now please do not derail the thread with your seemingly personal vendetta against me. Unless you don't like black history?
This a good thread, more importantly the fact that the names aren’t such common “black history” names, less known about here.
Bump! Ty for sharing some important stories from real relatable people who did amazing things and should be celebrated!!! We need a black history month hunt!!!
We already got the spinner avis & the dorm though, for the entire month, which I think is better than a hunt.
Yeah! I didn't want to do the more well known ones ー not because they aren't important, but to really show the scope of black history. It isn't just Martin Luther King, Jr., Maya Angelou, and Barack Obama. There's so much that was left out of the history textbooks in school so its important to shed a light on these individuals.
You're not used to ni ggas not having names like Tyrone and Jamaal? Lmao. I support this thread though, even though she's white and her friend is racist. It's kinda nice of her to enlighten some people about black history. Can't say that race really matters when you all have mouths and look the same with the lights off
What? I meant exactly how she responded, she included the less common black history people, it woulda been too easy to name certain people but she went with the more unknown ones, which was nice.
