I'm the third child out of seven, somewhat in the middle. Those traits are so me except the rebellious and the people-pleaser part. I don't like so much attention.
TECHNICALLY, I’m the youngest BORN to my parents but we adopted my little sister who came to live with us when I was basically an adult. I have mostly youngest traits and I’m spoiled af. Even the baby spoils me. I have a few middle sibling traits and she does as well along with only child traits. My older sister is textbook oldest sibling. Bossy heifer.
I’m the oldest of three too, and most of the traits fit.. except I’m also a chronic procrastinator (thank you, uni days..) so I’ll let things go for a little while, then I freak out and snap into perfectionist mode.. Mike just laughs at me ?
Same! Honestly the time crunch at the end to meet the deadline motivates me to do it and I was still able to turn in essays that I wrote like literally the night before and still get an A on it. Probably not the smartest modus operandi in the long run though.
I feel like oldest gets along with oldest quite well. There are a lot of middle children and younger children in forums that I feel like I don’t vibe as well with, but two people that are also the oldest children I clicked right away with, and we’ve never had a single issue.
I think I’m considered an only child because I mostly grew up just my mom and me, and I think those traits fit me relatively well. I definitely had to be responsible and mature earlier than most because of family stuff as well. I technically have four older siblings though? My half brother is the oldest (we share a dad) and he grew up with his mom and has a different half sister (they share a mom) who is also older than me. Plus, my dad married my step mom who has three daughters who are all older than me. So in that sense I’m the youngest but I don’t think the youngest traits fit me. I do connect with some of the eldest and middle traits though, and I’ve had friends in college be surprised I’m an only child because they thought of only children as being spoiled and selfish, etc ?♀️ sorry for being long winded?
