  1. Idk, just how I see people do it. I don't mean to imply it has to be the dollar sign- people use their own native currency sign. But that sign implies then that it is money; not an item, such as bentos.

  2. Exactly people use money indicators but even that isn’t necessary because given the context it is almost always clear what people are referring to. “I am selling my 999 for 30b” is obviously bentos; “ I am buying a 60b dvp” is obviously pimd buck.... if someone can’t tell (refuses to acknowledge) that people use “b” for both that is on them

  3. I've never seen that lol.

  4. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

  5. Hella inconvenient tho when b already stands for billions of pimd bucks and it involved a second symbol to clarify when it was already known.

Seems odd that anyone would put in so much extra effort.

  6.
  7. I see where you are coming from but, also, if you think that is effort, what is your life like? Haha ?

  8. I don't think that that argument belongs here because it applies to both sides equally. It takes extra effort.

I suggest 2 alternative symbols for people to represent bentos with that are equally low-effort, whereas you're suggesting that b stop meaning billion, despite a.t.a using it to represent money, and to add another symbol to it.

    That isn't happening.

  9. I am not suggesting b stop meaning billion at all. I am just saying that, for many, it it a symbol with dual meanings.

You might not like it. You might think it is dumb.
That'a fair and fine. Idk what to tell ya, bud.

  10. But if people seem to easily understand which meaning someone is implying and in what context, why do we need 2 alternative symbols?

  11. Just agree that it's dumb. That's all I'm saying. You don't need to spread awareness or anything.

  12. You haven’t answered my question.

  13. Because there is still ambiguity and it confuses new players unnecessarily.

It's easy enough for people also to understand that o stands for bentos. Heck you can say "selling 499 for 13" and people will understand that you mean bentos. That's the state of trading on here.

  14. I was addressing Sherily...?

  15. I’ve genuinely never seen someone use o for bentos.
But new players would be confused with every aspect of the game, you can’t just single it down to this, give me a good enough reason for why it should be changed for old and new players alike

  16. ATA also uses $ to represent in-game cash even though you were advocating against the use of $ earlier.

  17. Reason is that it's ambiguous for no sake.
    Pretty clean

  18. Wait, what the majestic flying turd, is going on here?!? I skimmed through dis with my mad swagger, and there seems to be some armageddon-type shyt going on here bruh.

B has always stood for billion in pimd cash, however my chicklings, DVP has always been used after it.

    Ex:

"I'm selling goldfish for 100B DVP! Wall me!"

So when someone says "im selling goldfish for 10B" I'm pretty sure they mean bentos.

    It ain't that hard bruh.

  19. To you.

  20. It is dumb, tbh.

v In regards to the "o" thing, though, I'd just like to say that, in my experience, it is easier to teach a clean slate (new players) than to have people unlearn what they already know and learn something else. B should have never stood for bento but it has for long enough that it would be more difficult to reverse it than to just go with the flow.
