Beta War - Test #1

  1. Hmmm more inactives this time then ive ever seen before plus the issue reported earlier

    Maybe a penalty system? So like if ur inactive for 2-3 beta wars your banned from joining beta war until hunt ends?
     
  2. Yeah, that was the concerning going in.
    Do you think rewarding being 'successfully hit' as well would work?
    Ie - You get 1 Proposal per hit you take?
     
  3. Maybe more of an opt in cost that you'd be guaranteed to get back if you're active?
    I dunno, just thinking out loud.
     
  4. Deadpulse was listed but as soon as war started she wasnt on the list anymore

    Still a problem with inactives but Im sure as they realize they wont get anything for it that it will slowly change

    I was active the whole war and only received 39 promposals but between successful and unsuccessful hits Im sure I would have made the max of 50 plus the 10 for being on the winning side

    I do think that since we have to sit there for 2 hours unable to earn drops or even farm that the drop rate needs to be increased or include unsuccessful hits as well… especially for those who get pinned at start and stay pinned through the whole war who can hardly hit or fail hitting from pin

    So still some kinks to be worked out
     
  5. Maybe base it on actions? Failed or successful. Bein hit no, but hitting and failing like if your hitting from pin u still have to b active to b able to do.
     
  6. It was an alright war ( would have been better if we won)


    As for the inactives there were a few that were just nowhere to be found at times as normal....


    I think it should stay as is for the promposals 1 promposal per successful hit
     
  7. I think it should have activity checks before and during war to see whos active, if no reply should get nothing at the end
     
  8. You can b inactive and take hits, but would need to b active to fail hits therefore I think even fail hits should count towards the drop.
     
  9. @pimd… Idk if getting something for taking hits will work because inactives normally do get hit… so they would still be getting rewarded for being inactive
     
  10. 4 hours spent for War = 60 Promposal Max. Good.
     
  11. The inactive could have been there because not everyone refers forum maybe those inactive might not even know that this beta war was to trial for inactive! Once they start realising mayb it might stop

  16. @pimd if you based it on being hit as well then people who are asleep cowing could get the rewards for doing nothing. Due to them getting hit all war. It should be actions successful or unsuccessful for it to work.

    Just my advice. Take it as you wish.

  18. Yeah, I relayed that to the devs, it's a really great point.
    We're thinking for new beta war to reward all actions taken.
    And then if we feel still needed, try out the rewarding being hit, but agreed, seems like that idea might just encourage inactives.

    Glad to hear that it seems to have helped a little bit with the inactive issue so far.

  19. Cause I derped and forgot to mention that to the person setting up the War Rewards.
    Going to be distributing that as well shortly.
     
  20. You will never eliminate all inactives, thats something you have to accept in any war. I still stand by unsuccessful and successful hits being counted for rewards. Incoming hits will just allow players to sit and take hits without even attempting to war.
