While it's a good idea what about people who end up on the receiving end? Many times players end up as shields and thus landing successful hits is hard Maybe take that into consideration? So like if active but more than x number of incoming (50?) they get something to?
@CraxyReD… Yea I get what you're saying but there would have to be a way to show they were active the whole time or we run into the issue of inactives still getting drops because inactives are usually hit during betta wars… I think counting successful and unsuccessful hits seems to be the best idea at this point
Also I do think that the amount per hit should be increased because of how long betta wars take… there is a 2 hour time period were you cant do anything before the war actually starts Which 2 hrs lbhing is a lot of drops
Because they match clubs up for a reason if they were to give us an option to kick people we being people if drama ensued, boom, kick, someone we don't like, boom, kick, and so on and so forth.
Other than the issues mentioned, if you could include players tb when matching (and then prevent hiring after paired) then you may have a functional system.
I'm curious as to why we have to leave our club to join the Beta War? It makes no sense to me but then again I don't understand the whole thing anyways
For individual wars, which is what this beta war is, the system automatically puts you in a club matched to your build size, and then matches you against another club of similar strength. So, you have to leave your club in order for the system to add you to the temporary war club.
That's one idea we can consider, but for this test we want to focus on seeing how the proposed set up addresses the inactives issue. After that, we'll be gathering your guys' feedback and focusing on the next test. Basically, we need to focus on one issue at a time, or we won't be able to get clear results.
Slightly off topic, What if I join beta wars with no tb then after I'm matched I hire 5 BC's? ? is that evil orrrr nah?
@PIMD, can you make it possible where those who don't like to party for drops, war for drops? Like I'm pretty sure wars would become as popular as parties.
That's one of the ideas once we're sure wars are feeling good and don't have exploits in them. With past hunts, it was too easy to just sign up for Beta War, do nothing, and get hunt items, hence this test, based on how much you successfully hit in war. We'll be trying out other tests in the future too
So pimd, if i'm reading this right, what your saying is that if we get lucky, and everything goes well we will have a system where we can war during the whole hunt, and get our items instead of partying, while these people party and such we could have wars 24/7 as well?
