Thought that was last thing but your response raises another question, Can you do a trial run of both wars systems we discussed here before the b2b wars start so we can give feed back and then you can decide which system to use for those?
Question it say we will get items based on hits but i think.its also.unfair bc the people hetting pinned aka cows will not be able to make very many hits being as they will be pinned the whole war ?!
Thanks for listening to us pimd. The only issue I see is the issue everyone is seeing. If someone is pinned from the start, which tends to happen in wars even though they're active the entire war they won't get anything due to the fact that they were unable to complete successful actions. Also pests may be able to hit unsuccessfully but are still a valuable part of war. A war isn't like a party, it's a joint effort. I doubt most people would just spam hit someone regardless just to get items. Although I'm slightly leaning towards the good of everyone. Most people who join wars understand they're a team effort and you hit the target regardless of if you can get hits in. Meaning lots would be unsuccessful with hits. But that's the main idea of warring is joining together as a team regardless of successful or unsuccessful hits. It's not about personal gain it's about the gain for the team. I've been pinned from the start before and been a cow, I've also pested from pin. Which would mean I would get a low amount of reward even though I'm active the entire war. And I am always active. I think you need to reward due to actions. Successful or not. Because pests and hitters who are pinned while valuable as a whole aren't earning poo due to the successful hits option.
It caps out at 50, you also get 2 dn so its easy to get close to max drops. You can get 2-3 hits from pin every 10 mins so that alone over 2 hours gives you between 20-35 hits plus your dn unloads.
It's really not that easy if it's based on successful because that would mean hitting a random target. Like pimd doesn't want us to do...just spam hit whoever.
Thats why Im pushing for any hits to count, successful or unsuccessful. Yes people can come in unload 3 times and get 30-40 hits but really thats something no one cam control.
Any hits should count. I agree. Anyone could be that random idiot who doesn't go with the war. But that happens in any war regardless. Inactives are a major issue. Not those who can't successfully hit.
Hmm.. that's a good point. We'll try to strike a balance of having multiple wars each week, while still having time to review feedback and adapt for the next war test.
For those wondering: Based on current times with daylight savings 2pm start PST = 10pm - GMT ( 1) so UK peeps 11pm/12/1am - Europe 5pm - EST 4pm -Central 3pm- mountain 5am - Singapore 7am -Melbourne, Aus I think that's right, sorry if I messed any up :s
Amazed by how @PimD link another thread and when you click it, it automatically go to the thread (no need to choose any browser to go to the link given)
PimD, could you make it 50 promposals for the winning club for this war? (It's a way to address the cow issues this test war). Top 2-4 club members always get pinned from the start (well, my opponents anyway)
I agree with miznatie, 10 for the winning team does seem a little stingy. Any chance of an increase pimd?
In my opinion the 1 drop per hit could be increased so those who do beta war can make a lot more than those who Lbh or sit around doing parties, so people will want to do more wars, and be more active so they get more in the end.
