I'm a fan of Rose Red. Way scarier than anything of Kings in the early 90's.

 

Yes I love horror movies but the older movies still are better then most new ones. Paranormal activity was lame wasn't as scary as Amityville horror

 

Isn't "The Ring" is all time fame??

The Shining. It might be a little dated now but there's just something about it. The music really gets your hairs standing on end.

I watch a fair few horrors and I don't think any in recent times have been that scary. They are a little too predictable and far fetched.

The shining is still a tad creepy even if you watch it like 5 times

 

What, I thought the shining was funny ?
It was the only scary movie I could watch without having my eyes closed 
