  3. That time the rest of the class went on a tour and I managed to squeeze out of it and even got the Headmaster to give me unfettered access to the library until my classmates came back which was a week later  either that or when my constant badgering frustrated the Headmaster into giving me a library key of my own. 

  4. The day I met my favorite artist who impacted my life is my greatest experience thus far. ? Long story short, my sister and I went to a concert of his last year and at the merch booth, his manager was running it. We talked to him for awhile, he kept asking me my favorite songs and stuff and I begged my sister to buy me a shirt, and she eventually gave in. As I was talking to the manager, he also had vinyl record copies of his album, but they were too expensive so I couldn't get them. I went to the bathroom and when I came out, a random dude came up to me and bought me the album, saying: "I overheard you talking and I could tell you was a real fan, so I couldn't help myself but to get this for you." I started crying when he gave it to me. I talked to him for awhile, he was an amazing dude. ? An opener was on stage but my sister and I stayed around the booth when the artist came through the door and up to his manager, who was like, "this lady over here wanted to meet you," and as I was saying hi, he hugged me and I started crying again.  After the concert, I ended up getting my record signed and he wrote "I love you" on it. It still amazes me how all of that happened all by pure luck. That was the best night of my life.

  13. Sticking up for some kid on the bus and intimidating the man who was threatening to bash him. I'm a pretty scrawny guy but I was really proud to have helped him out.

I wrote about it in forums before but I'll talk about another aspect of it which I don't think I mentioned.
The day after the confrontation some of my peers were talking about it and laughing at me, saying my voice was high pitched. As I remembered it, I deepened and raised the volume of my voice, but whatever the case, the fact that they made fun of me for it made me think that they felt guilty for not doing what I did, and were choosing to laugh at me to justify why they didn't do it.

I still don't really get it.

Later on in the day, other people said that if the guy had turned on me that none of them would have defended me, again a more clear sign of them justifying their cowardice.

They didn't need to prove anything to me, though.

That afternoon the kid I'd stood up for thanked me again. That was the only person I acted for anyway.

I felt like a real hero that afternoon.

I've gone travelling and seen stuff and experienced stuff, and while I'd like to talk about the most expensive, adventerous, or intimate? experiences, none of them measure up to that feeling that I had on a bus on the way home from school.
