Melodie~ I held his hand tightly, my face blotched in redness, I tugged on a cracked smile. My sleeves covered my carved arms. I inhaled, squeezing his hand as we walked. I felt like I couldn't breathe anymore. I smiled, for real. I was sort of..happy. I was a bit of a dork, honestly. I couldn't admit much, and there was pure silence as we walked. I coughed, and I started to chuckle a bit before I began,"You know what's pretty funny?" I blinked, staring down at my jeans. "I don't think I've ever, ever worn shorts after age twelve." I bit my lip, thinking. I shrugged, my eyes darting at other things. I was easily distracted but as soon as I heard his voice I was like, BAM. Back to listening. His voice was amazing, no doubt. I wonder if he could sing...
Melodie~ I poked him, with a smile smile. I blinked, and paused before yawning and laughing again before asking,"Sweeney? Do you sing?" I had been pondering this, but I was somewhat too enchanted to ask anything. I had my fingers laced with his, a bright shade of red.
Sweeney's POV: I blinked, smiling nervously. "Well... Um... I would sing with Nellie, and that's really about it," I said quietly. "I don't sing in public, though. I smiled, looking at our hands. "Where would you like to go?" I asked her, scanning the woods. I jumped seeing Carly approaching us. "Shit."
Melodie~ I froze, and my face felt inflamed. Carly's smirking face made me want to explode. "What's wrong, Harveed? Hm?" I blinked, shaking. She had her arms folded, and she scoffed. "Are you too chicken to go anywhere alone?" I growled lowly, letting go of Sweeney's hand. This wasn't going to end well. "Carly, go back to your group of pricks." I hissed, pulling my hair back into a ponytail. I still looked nice, or somewhat. She scoffed, stepping towards me. "Or what? Are you going to hiss me to death?" she asked, like I wouldn't bite. I must've been quite rude that day, because I went ahead, and stepped up as well. Sweeney must've felt awkward. "Harveed, go back to your emo boyfriend before you get hurt." she scowled. I felt tears sting at my eyes, and I screamed. I started running at her, and now, I was chasing her. She tripped, and I cackled as I stood above her, and stepped on her back. "Hm? What was that?" I asked with a rude growl. I sure wasn't proud of myself, but I guess true demon requires rudeness. My manners weren't perfect.
