  1. I'm sorry for taking so long. I was really debating about just introducing this character and letting it be the update. I hope you enjoy this boring update.
    ••••••••••••••••••••••••

Neith entered her Spanish 1 class and beelined her way to the back of the room. She let her books fall onto the desk with a loud smack, she caught a glimpse of a student jolting in their desk; startled by the noise. Neith chuckled to herself, taking a seat in the cold, plastic chair sighing out as she did. Using the backing of the chair to stretch out her body Neith let a small yawn escape her lips, then slowly gathered in her books to rest her head on.

"Hiya Neith!", a well awake voice cheered at her as it pulled the desk beside her in close, making the metallic legs screech annoyingly against the tile flooring. Neith continued to ignore the voice, wanting to be left alone to her own thoughts. As she laid there in some what tranquil manner, pondering about her next classes, what road kill the cafeteria would be serving and when to take Kain in for his check up. A finger poke to the ribs yanks Neith out of her kind, the poke also made her squeak and bang her head with with the poking culprit.

"Woah Neith! I was just making sure you were still breathing..." Nicolai shook his head, then grabbed Neiths chin to inspect her. The grabbing makes her swing her hand into a loud slap against Nicolai's cheek. The uncalled for slap makes Nicolai let go of her and kick his desk back a little, groaning out in pain.

"Damn it Neith! That was really uncalled for, you really have a way of charming people." He rubs at his cheek, slighting grinding his teeth as he looks up to glare at her. The small fire in him dies as he sees Neith slumped in her seat, bottom lip trembling.

"You surprised me. It hasn't been a good week...weekend." A few black strands of hair fall into her face, sighing out they lightly lift up but don't move off. Straightening up she pushes the hair back, giving Nicolai a crooked smile. Seeing her smile makes Nicolai blush, he breaks eye contact as a well bloomed girl walks into the classroom only to frowns seconds later as the very spirited Spanish teacher waltzes in shaking a pair of maracas. Mrs. Burshi salsas her way to her desk, only to let out an off key mariachi cry upon reaching it making her students cringe, including Neith. Neith glances over at Nicolai who has a pained expression plastered on his face, chuckling Neith grabs up the book she started reading as Mrs. Burshi began to go on about something or another.

A chapter and a half into her book Neiths desk is quickly jerked to the left, making her textbooks fall to the ground. Neith makes an effort to take her eyes away from her book to look about the room, to find the rest of the class in groups. Nonchalantly she sets her book down and cracks her fingers, glancing over at Nicolai who is bent down over his Spanish 1 text book.

"What are we doing?" Neith quietly asked, leaning down to grab her book.
Nicolai watched her curves move, licking his lips a little, "I don't know." He quickly glanced over at the white board, reading the assignment. "But what I do know is that you're back on the market." Nicolai swiveled his head to Neith, smiling widely.
Neith blinked a few times, letting her voice trail out the fake confusion she held. "On the market...?" She knew what he meant, but she wanted to hear him say it.
"Yeah...that you're single." Nicolai looked into her eyes, flashing her that charming smile he uses on every girl. His strong hands cup her right one, thumb caressing at the back of her hand.
"So how about this Sunday I take you to lunch, a matinee and, perhaps, a nice jaunt on the beach." He gave her a wink, as he brought her fingers to his lips and kissed each of them individually.
The swelter of her anger rose quickly into her cheeks, her jaw clenched, Neith forced her self to smile at Nicolai. Nicolai was trying to impress her by offering the matinee and the use of a simple synonym to spice up his date plan. She played the swelter off as a blush and became bashful towards him, batting her eyelashes at him then looked down at her desk, secretly fuming.
"Oh Nicolai, I don't know what to say!" She let out a girly giggle, making Nicolai grip her hand in pleasure. At that Neith looked up at him, his cheeky smile vanished and his body sunk into his chair.
Sliding her body frame out of the desk she circled around to Nicolai, " I'm appalled at your effing offer! How dare you have the audacity to ask me out after what happened. Do you think I'd just fall into your arms like the dim-witted girls you're use to?" Her loud whispered made the heads of the close by classmate turn in their direction. Neith continued to speak into his ear, his slightly tanned skin becoming red with embarrassment and anger that he was trying to control.
"I know what you are Nicolai. You just use girls for one thing and when you get it you move on. Girls are disposable to you. You could careless about their feelings, their true needs and wants. You're a player, and you'll never deserve me." Neith hissed softly into his ear, her nails scraping the back of Nicolai's chair as she restrained her actions.

"Ms. Henderson sit down!" Mrs. Burshi suddenly boomed, slapping a ruler against the whiteboard. The other students remained quite as they speculated the scene.
"I think I'm going to puke." Neith swept down and grabbed her things, and stormed out of the classroom, not waiting for Mrs. Burshi to answer.
Neith slammed the door as she exited; making some old paper machê sculptures, from past students that had been resting on a book shelf, leap off and hit a few students. She knew the teacher wouldn't bother with sending a student after her, so she let her back rest against the cold concrete wall as she let out a shaky breath. Tears rolled down her cheeks as her chest heaved up and down, Neith allowed herself to cry for a second time in school.
