Matthew frowned, as she blew off another one of his confessions. "Yes Alexis they're pretty lights..." His big, purple colored eyes focused on her bouncy curls, and her pale face. Alexis blinked at his actions and said,"Are you okay? You look a little jumpy..." "Huh? Oh. I'm fine..." he said, almost inaudibly. "Just want to make sure..." she said, leaning closer to him. Matthew's body shook in nervousness as Alexis lied on his lap. "Matthew?" she asked after a few minutes of silence. "Y-Yes, Alexis?" "What were you going to say earlier? Before the lights?" "Oh....I-I was going to say....-" Alexis sat up and sat on his lap, facing him. "You were going to say what, Matthew?" "A-Alexis-" His face turned a bright shade of red, Just looking at Alexis. Why are you crying?" he asked softly, but still with worry. "I love you too, Matty...." She leaned in and kissed Matthew softly, and Matthew started to cry.
