I read the Illiad, and when it came to Athena vs Ares. Athena was superior, so much so that Ares after being injured flew back up to Olympus crying and cradled himself around Zeus's feet. (Until Zeus ordered another Greek deity to heal Ares, and also ordered Ares to grow up)
