  1. Thankyou Papi. ♡

  2. I think this was an interesting and thought out piece. Thank you so much.

  3. glad you wrote your name down there, as seeing it above may confuse me

  4. It has always been anything to win, spying etc isn't anything new, people just weren't as horrible back in the day and weren't cry babies. If one side was winning by a massive landslide, the other team just worked harder and lost more sleep and $.

  5. I think it is fair to say that open war mercs have always been a popularity contest. It always depended on the leaders, organisers and individuals to be conscientious enough to make the war fairly even. That's why we always do locked wars in the club so there's no "issues". There's nobody else to blame but ourselves if we win or loose. It boils down to preparation and war tactics from both sides.I've been both opposite sides and trust me loosing a war isn't that bad. It will just make you stronger and learn more. Next time you'll do better when the same situation arises. Experience is the best teacher. So you might have to loose a few wars to win a thousand more.

  6. This whole thread is depressing. LOL.

It's a freaking game. Stop taking it so seriously @everyone. So you had a crap war with over-recruiting. Boohoo. Make a closed roster war next time instead. *Better yet, participate in pvp. It can be never-ending and there are no rules. Either way, nobody will ever be happy.

  7. wana cry with me bb

  8. Will there be chocolate covered twinkies?!

  9. Yes indeed, it is a popularity contest.

  10. anything for you babe

  11. ? wars are meant to be fun and if you think winning is the only option in a war you may want to reevaluate your concept on war

  12.
  13. "All fair in love and war"

  14. All of this is too much for some wars in a damn freaking game. Da world is nevur fair that's how it is!

  15. In all honesty, no one said it had to be fair. But slaughter wars proves nothing. All it shows is one team can throw numbers at another team. You woupdn't even need legit war tactics or a leader.

I had even slowed down on wars if it looked like a slaughter. Granted I have been in open merc wars where I was being slaughtered with my team & being on the team slaughtering others. Simply put... it's not fun either way.

I also do not think this should only fall on the leaders. It is the mercs that show up. I myself had always checked out the number of ppl active in wars & plunder before I pick a side. Any gd merc should do that tho. That was one of the most respectable things about a war merc.

With slaughter wars many will either join a few time and start to hate wars. Most new players will see them and think wars are pointless and not fun.

What makes any war great is having a close war. Nothing is better than being on the edge of your seat and losing sleep bcuz each hit counts so damn much. Then it shows true team work as well. Bcuz if you can't work as a team, you will fail. To me a close war shows who was the better team.

Yea players got wars going a little bit. But how long will this keep going until players just get tired of a slaughter war and doesn't bother to show up?

  16. Very good points angel,

And your right its not alwyas the leaders responsibility. War mercs should have the presence of mind to check the teams, but then its usually the leaders who need to teach new mercs, and if the leaders dont seem to care about a lopsided war then why would they teach mercs about it?

If you all check the war thread grrr Vs Flocc, you will see that it has already been noticed that the sides are lopsided. You would hope that any new players signing up choose the side that needs the help. But its up to flocc and grrr to ensure that its a good war. To teach the players that they need to try and keep it even.

Running an organising my own wars in the past, and watching players like hooty and dj, setting up a war is not easy. And can be very time consuming. But by far the best wars around were the ones organised by hooty and Dj. There were mostly fair.

Yes the odd war does occur where its a slaughter. But when most wars these days seem to be exatly that, something needs to give.

Someone needs to teach the mercs the 'etiquette' for warring. And my opinion is it should fall largly on the leaders and hosts of these wars.

  17. yours truly used to merc in sw before it became pointless drivel to me..
And dead dolls, DRM etc etc was flooding sw with Mercs back in the day, years ago, so this isn't really a new thing in my eyes ...

  18. Bby don't talk about me like that 

  19. True, it is nothing new. Dif is more wars were around back then. Not all of them turned out to be a slaughter. I get Rude's point tho. We have few wars going on now days. Here lately they have been nothing but slaughter wars.
