I get it a lot and I use to be scared. Until, I watched Ralph Smart's view on it on YouTube and then I took his advice and when it was happening I let go and embraced the experience. It's really a life changing event once you get past being scared.
Yes I get it when laying in bed all day, I become lethargic and on the verge of falling asleep it happens. One time I struggled so hard to get out of it I thought I actually did and ended up lucid dreaming, I stood up out of bed (or so I thought) and my vision was all blurry and I couldn't physically feel anything. I turned around and saw myself lying there and freaked out then I woke up. I don't remember falling asleep and I don't believe I ever did. Was some insidious type stuff.
Omg anyone get that moment when their about to fall asleep then suddenly have the feeling their falling?
I made a thread about this already?its scary happens to me a lot feels like something holding me down i can see but i cant move my body or my mouth to scream for help?
One time I woke up and saw dark eyes staring straight into my eyes but I couldn't move. It stared at me for a minute and opened its mouth but when I closed my eyes and opened them the figure vanished...but I heard something breathing next to my right ear....... Read chapter 2 to find out what happened next ?
I get this in a few ways The one im.hoping not to return was feeling and seeing a black figure. I cant move or breath its such a fight to wake. Funny enough by wiggling my toes and realy pushing myself to roll over please note took me ages to fight this it seems to have stopped. I also get a feeling of free falling it freaks me out. Im spinning/floating/fallimg (the feeling changes . My heart feels like its gonna burst outta mouth. I find by willing myself to move it stops. Sometimes it restarts it usually occurs if i lie certain ways. Another one i hate is i wake up or so i think. I basically feel smell hear and see stuff i dunno how to explain. Iv even seen myself asleep then woken up freaked out.
Yes and mine are all of the weirdest dreams. Once when I was younger there was this really scary dream and I had to sleep with my mom but even then, the dream wouldn't go away unless I was touching her
My neighbors dog barked the other night and would not sleep. I threw a brick at it and the thing went silent. Haven't heard a noise from it yet.
Try your best to do a sudden side turn of your head. It might take a couple of tries to be fully awake though, but it's the first thing I do when I get sleep paralysis..
