Okay. But what if you're actually deaf and can't hear anything? And can deaf people talk? Do they know what they're saying if/when they talk?
Listen honey...I ain't uptight but I would never EVER make a sickening joke. So go look at yourself in the mirror darling.
Usually deaf people use sign language as their main form of communication. But when they talk, it tends to sound a lot different than the way a person with normal hearin would speak
Deaf people could, and tbh sign language is the best form to commune with people, so you will need an interpreter if they cannot speak at all
What is the best way to learn sign language? I have 50% and 75% loss and i want to try to learn now rather then wait.
I'm hard of hearing. It happened recently, so it's frustrating seeing as how I could hear perfectly fine my whole life.
What would be the best advice for people that want to communicate with a Def person, like what's the best way to go about it for those that aren't experts in signing.
Advice? Learn silent language if they're deaf/I've it a dead friend. If they're autistic? Don't treat them like a retard The "r" word
I know some from teaching my daughter to sign when she was a baby but not enough to really communicate a conversation lol I just know basic baby stuff.
