Nay. Future diary sucks hard. I don't think I was able to finish it because it's just an inconsistent mess. Sword art online is even worse. If you as a person find a single redeeming characteristic from sword art online aside from the first 2/3 episode you're probably demented following a hard blow to the head,unless the show feels like the fulfillment of your fantasy where girls follow you around in a video game. Then it's your lucky day. I don't need to rate death note. One of the best anime ever. Followed closely by Fullmetal alchemist. Attack on Titan deserves more mainstream attention, it has the capacity to get more. Tokyo ghoul starts out with a bang then declines with each passing season. I don't know how to rate Yuri on ice without being biased. I don't think we even need to discuss the holy trinity (dbz, pokemon and (in hinatas whiny voice) Naruto) Yall we need an anime hunt.
Fullmetal Alchemist, Fruits Basket, Yu Yu Hakusho are a few of my favorites. No Game No Life is an anime I could rewatch over and over again- the chess episode is my fav. Kakeguri is super.... weird. I'm not really a fan of DBZ, Naruto, inuyasha, Attack on Titan. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ basically the same stuff over and over again to me and it got boring after a short period of time.
I have a lot of favorites. A few examples would be Blood Plus, Ajin, Black Butler, Fullmetal Alchemist, Fate Series, Shokugeki no Souma, Bungou Stray Dogs, Kuroko no Basuke, and Claymore. I have a whole lot more but I'm lazy typing (and I'm mostly into reading manga than watching anime). ?
Future diary sounds so weird, I never knew the english version of it : )) But, yeah, it was weird af. I watched it only bcs my friend told its the best but for me it was just lame. I enjoyed only the first season of SAO and Tokyo Ghoul, after that it became lame too. And Yuri on Ice is a masterpiece tbh, I have no words of how great it was and how much I cried. There other great animes too and here are the best for me: Nana ( it is one of the most realistic anime I've ever seen tbh and you will just feel everything from hate to love and crying) Code Geass ( no words for this one, just watch it) Zetsuen no Tempest( if you want some psychology and mistery in your life)
Kill la kill is one I think ACTUALLY deserves more mainstream attention. While we are on the subject... Attack on Titan ISNT mainstream? :lol:

It's a pretty wild accusation to claim that all anime is terrible unless you've watched every single anime and have the necessary data to make such a claim. And yes, the only reason I'm being a douche with an obviously wild response like this is because you responded to someone else who said they learned Japanese watching anime telling them they didn't learn a whole language just by watching anime when it was very obvious that what was implied was that they learned 'some' Japanese from watching anime. BUT for real real, some anime is really great when it comes to the quality of animation, the characters, the storyline, the writing, etc. So I'm not sure what put you off it. Probably the vast amount of shit anime, but still. Not all.
