Final chapter.. Destination found He awoke to sun rays warming his face. His lips turned up in to a slight smile. Memories drifted as he replayed last night in his head. It all seemed like an absolute fantasy. Could he really have found happiness just like that? After all that happened in his life. It was all replaced with a sudden burst of joy. God was giving him something that he thought he needed. He had needed that light in his life for a long time. He turned his head to gaze at the beautiful woman laying in bed beside him. His fingers moved to brush across the tips of her hair. She smelled like coconut, it was amazing. She could bring him to his knees so easily. This young woman had no idea what power she held over him. His heart belonged to her, for that she knew. Even when she gazed over at him, while they lay in bed. That sweet smile made him fall head over heels all over again. She suddenly smirked and bolted from the bed. He sat up in confusion, and watched her run from the room. He grumbled and pouted while jumping from the bed and giving chase. As he rounded the corner, a marshmallow hit him in the face. He chuckled and made a move to tackle the marshmallow thrower. She squeaked and dodged him. Dancing around his fallen form. He heard her gentle laughter and smiled. He wouldn't give this up for anything in the world. He forced himself up, moving to grab for her again. She stood by their Christmas tree, bag of marshmallows in hand. " You never did explain the reason behind the tree in the living room, love. " He chuckled and snuck up behind her. His arms wrapped around her waist and pulled her against him, " It's a Christmas tree, it's for a holiday thats coming up in a month. It also stands for new beginnings. " A candy cane on the left side of the tree moved and slowly slipped off the branch that held it. He frowned his disapproval and went to grab it. Until his hand touched a fluffy tail that growled back at him. He blinked in surprise and went to take a closer look, " You again! You little thief! " Misuki giggled and gently took the small squirrel from the tree. The candy cane hanging half out of it's mouth, " She missed home, so they let her come back. I figured you wouldn't mind too much. " He smirked at the squirrel nestling in to his girlfriend's chest. He would have to make a note to have a bed placed out in the living room for her. A sigh left him, then he returned to his position. Hugging her from behind, " I love you, and I'm so glad I have you back in my life and my arms. ", He said softly and glanced at the mischievous squirrel, " And I guess I missed you a little too you candy cane stealer. " She smiled happily and turned slightly to face him, " I love you too, more than you'll ever know. ", She replied cheekily and pulled him in to a gentle kiss. Love lives on, regardless of distance.
