or it could be the great Welkynd stone. I still don't know what Welkynd stones are though I look at Raven and hold up a round object the color of firebrick, "Is this the great Welkynd stone ?" "I was searching for other clues to The necromancer's location but got only the staff, the broken dagger blade and a few other things."
