James: You what!?!? You attended none of the sessions!?!? -Closes eyes and takes a deep breath- Forget it, what's done is done. However I grow tired of you all accusing me of leaving John. I was given orders to scout a certain mountain path for him and I followed them. -Turns to fawn- Do whatever the hell you want, but I will be posting double the guards with you and the Empress. Take whoever you want, I will continue my work until then. Sound good? Ok then. -Turns and walks out- (That was a James temper tantrum. Minus weapons.)
Fae: "You come in here and start walking around as if you own the place, you're twisting my will and talking down to me as if I'm still a slave with no hope for a future."
James:-Suddenly turns and stares and starts talking angrily- I was raised for one reason, to serve the Emperor, to protect him. Yet because I followed orders he dies now everywhere I go it is brought up as if I am responsible for it. I refuse to have that happen two times in my life time. I am not going to fail two times in a row. -Turns and goes back to looking at the garden-
Fae: "So you're stopping me from living my life, or what I have left of it, how I want just because you're afraid of failure. That's sounds about right.."
James: I am trying to save you. But you are in charge, you may request that a different legion take over your security detail. Then you will only have to move your friends into that legion. I will hold no grudge... But I have a question... Why didnt you attend the lessons? Did you not trust him?
Fae: Sighs and sits on the bench, staring at my hands for a few moments whilst replying "You really don't know anything about me? Do you?"
James: I know he was fond of you. I know. John was trying to groom you to be a worthy successor. I know you served him for much of your life, I know this is where you met. Other than that, I know nothing.
Fae: "You're wrong on one point. I only served him for two years, I was living on the streets before."
Fae: Shrugs "I just though you might as well know.. But no; I wasn't scared of the tutor I was scared of being here, it felt like a prison but every time I ran away I would always get dragged back."
Fawn: Sighs and follows them to the garden, but walks over to the kennels and brings my dog out. I start playing fetch with her by chucking a stick.
Cato: I go into my office and see one of my parents' servants. "What the hell are you doing here. I thought I made it very clear I wanted nothing to do with those two-" "your father is dying. He has asked for you and your sister to attend" he interrupts and I drop down to a chair.
Fawn: I wander through the palace, my dog on my heels. I end up sat in courtyard, my dog at my feet. Watching the clouds I sigh smoothing my purple toga.
