"I love you so much!" It only took him two long strides to get to where I was before he lifted me into my his arms. He kissed me on the lips, neck and cheek. "Finally..." he whispered against my neck. "Finally you're mine!" he said and he held me tighter and closer. "Ah... I've been waiting so long... I'm so happy." He didn't even attempt to let me go. I smiled and wrapped my arms around him. I felt something wet fall onto my cheek. I looked up to see Dante's eyes filling with tears... He was actually crying. "Dante..." I paused. At that moment I realize how selfish I had been. Not telling him how much I loved him... Making him wait when I loved him all along. I was terrible. "Dante?" "Yes...?" he asked as he kissed the top of my head. "I'm sorry..." "For what?" "I-I've loved you for so long... I never told you, but I was just scared! All this time... I've loved you and never said a word!" He smiled and kissed me again on the lips. "It was obvious... But I really... I really just wanted you to say it. Just in case I was wrong. Other than that. I've always known you loved me," he said quietly. I smiled. Tears now forming in my eyes. "Don't go," I whispered. "Please don't go!" He held me close and buried his face in my neck. "I'm sorry... I can't stay... I'll be back every holiday and when I can. I promise. But please... bear with me for a little while, okay?" I nodded. "And I'll wait." He smiled and once again he kissed me.
