  1. Couldn't the same be said about every country when it comes to the Olympics? Who can honestly say they would watch competitive skiing? Or dancing or whatever off the wall competition in the Olympics if their country's pride wasn't involved. I'm not a soccer fan but I enjoy the world coming together to play a game.

  2. If the US really promotes football they could be a really strong nation, they have the money and facilities to back it and maybe challenge for trophies realistically in years to come. They just live in their own little sporting world unfortunately that the rest of the world aren't really bothered about.

  3. Thread is false. I can tell u y but it will b a lot to read. Just trust me soccer has come a long way in usa vs 30 years ago. Now there r soccer coaches and club all over usa. B4 it was fashionable here is when I played. I was the only american on my team then. We won the city championship and lost in the state final. Soccer has always had my respect and i was a multi sport athlete. Backbthen is when americans didntvreally care about soccer but now? Stop playing ppl 

  4. I play on 3 teams all year-round. I watch premier league games, concacaf, go to watch the Revolution play in Gilette stadium. I love the World Cup and can't wait for the women's next year.

I love how soccer haters tell other people that they don't really like soccer...

  5. American football 

  6. They only crazy cause their still in the cup... Once they're out if anything they'll talk shiet about the sport.

    Case closed.

  7. They're**** not they or their (/.-)

  8. Because world cup is better quality of soccer... not many Americans can watch epl cause of the timing of the games which is fun to watch... but MLS is terrible almost painful to watch

  9. Yeah I like how a guy gets hit on the shoulder, goes down and then holds his knee. But as soon as the yellow card comes out the dude jumps up and high fives his teammate. That's real entertainment.

  10. That's one of footballs downsides Jack, nothing annoys me more than diving. Robben has epitomised it at this World Cup. All sports have their flaws though. The entertainment and unpredictability of football is what's exciting.
