Not being a hater I'm just giving my opinion. I played PSN at my cousins house and I was disappointed. The level of modded stuff during online gameplay was a little annoying. This is just one experience, but it was a huge turnoff for me. So I stick with XBL, free or not it's consistent.
Ooh the heated XBL vs. PSN... I agree XBL is a lot more consistent because they get sued if they're not. Any downtime of XBL is being paid for while the long PSN outage only affected the Playstation Plus members. And all those members plus free members were reimbursed for time lost. But still. My wallet would really cry a little if I had to pay that kind of money. Same goes for Playstation Plus. And PSN will never be as consistent because they aren't making serious off it yet
I don't think its that much money, $60 a year isn't that bad for the quality you get. But back to games: I heard news that Bethesda will be working on a console MMO after they release Skyrim. Anyone else heard about this? It is semi conformed, I've watched an interview where Todd Howard said they have been looking into it. He never truly confirmed it, then again he never confirms anything.
I don't know how I'd feel about it... It wasn't the Fallout one was it? Because I believe that's defunct
Bethesda does do PC well... I could support the idea of a PC MMO, but with Bethesda's track record with consoles and support/patches for glitches/lags... I would be worried. And if it was a PC MMO, there are already a lot of them out there.
I still think a console bethesda MMO would work. I have never had anymore issues with their games than I have any other rpg producer. I would be willing to give it a shot. I trust Bethesda I think they would do a great job.
physics and puzzles? You must be outta your mind. The dark humor is hilarious and I must say I love the song at the end of 2. Also the multiplayer was pretty awesome. But there's a dark side to portal... When is Half-Life 3 coming out?! Sum dum dumm~ (cough never cough) I saw a joke about Valve not being able to count to 3 (i.e. Portal 2, team fortress 2, half life 2, left for dead 2...)
Oh why? Whhhyyy???? I loved how they threw in so many references to the first game in portal 2. And I was genuinely stuck on a few levels this time around. Like the Warning: multiplayer spoiler beam level where you had to shoot both players from the opposite ends of the room so you crashed together and fell safely onto the platform.
I didn't read through the whole thread so idk if youve spoken about it. But Assassins Creed is my second favorite (right behind elder scrolls). It's got a deep story, amazing graphics, and a gameplay experience not found in any other games. Right after that is Mass Effect. The story alone makes that game insane. The depth in the story is unmatchable. Plus the graphics are insane. Gameplay feels lacking in some areas but it's not enough to be a turnoff. So my list: 1.Elder Scrolls 2.Assassins Creed 3.Mass Effecta
Mass effect is a good one... Actually I'm surprised no one's said that one yet. And we've already gone through about every major series so far for both PS3 and 360. I mentioned infamous before... Anyone play prototype? I actually preferred prototype because I felt distinctly more badass.
I don't know when I played inFAMOUS (I'm evil by the way ) I felt awesome just going around shocking people
Let me just say though there was two things I didn't like about inFAMOUS 1. The platforming could have been a little better 2. You're CONSTANTLY being shot at!
